Need to set up
Not that easy. No perfect match yet. My sounds change anyway all the time. Don’t know why. Was asked to leave feedback while still starting to test.
Works for me
A few years ago I would have given 5 stars because it does work for me. Fortunately it works for me without the bells and whistles. Tuning white noise is good enough. For those that need to go beyond that to find relief, I see that it has gotten very restrictive now with the developer falling prey to the temptation of a scammy short trial with automatic subscription. For that reason i have dropped my rating to 3 stars. They really should make that a 1 month free trial rather than 7 days and make it clearer about subscription and how to cancel. I hate app subscriptions but if you give a month, a user is much more likely to fiddle with it and find what works, proving it’s value and increasing the likelihood of good reviews.

No free trial
The app clearly said 7-day free trial. Only a fraction of the functionality is available on the “free” trial. The trial is NOT free. They charged a full year subscription the day I accessed the app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT’S A SCAM.
Didn’t work for me
I really wanted this to work, but blocking it with just a louder distracting noise was even worse. 🤷🏻
Superb App
This app is brilliant. I have tinnitus and use this app to help habituate. The range of options and ability to save profiles means I can find sounds that align to my tinnitus perception at any time. The app has clearly been developed with a lot of care and understanding. Thank you.
Relief
I’m 70 years young and have dealt with this for most of my adult life. Many years of performing Rock music with many bands but mostly Happy the Man on Arista records back in the 70’s. First tool I’ve experienced that actually works and is simply brilliant! Kudos to your team! Check out “Only Love” on YouTube. Brand new Happy the Man trying to heal the world…

Want t cancel this and can’t
What ba don’t buy this it will not give me the option to cancel I plan to sue them
Can’t rate it unless I pay
Doesn’t give me a chance to try it out
No Free Trial
Can’t even try this without purchasing at least a month subscription. One sound, hissing white noise is the only feature available, without paying $4.99 for a month subscription. I refuse to buy this app on the very slim chance that it might actually mask my tinnitus. There should be at least the ability to check out the other features for a few minutes, hours or days. The fact that they don’t allow a trual if the other features, doesn’t give much hope that it might be worth the price. DELETED!

Pathetic trial
Can only try a hissing noise before asking for money/subscription. Seriously, let us at least try the full gamut of sounds for at least 60 seconds before trying to get money. I know people want to make money but there’s a limit to greed. At least let people try it properly!
A good night sleep
I’ve been using TM for the past year and find it to be a much needed weapon in combating my tinnitus. I tried a couple other apps but hadn’t found them as helpful in drowning out my particular ringing. Getting a good night sleep was increasingly difficult up until I found TM. I think it has saved my sanity.
Great support department for the app, as well!

Es fehlen noch Geräuschvarianten, z.B. Vogelgezwitscher
Vogelgeräusche fehlen, ansonsten ganz gut
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. I’ll add in that sound soon.
Beware of Charges
You will be enrolled automatically in the Free Trial. After that you will be billed.
They do not state how to unenroll or cancel the subscription. I believe this violates the terms on the App Store. It should be very clear how to cancel a subscription, even if you didn’t choose to enroll in it.
Pretty simple. Don’t do this to people. And you won’t receive poor reviews.
Apple needs to get it together when it comes to preventing this sort of crap.

Brilliant - sends me off to sleep
I listen to the ‘rainforest’ when I go to bed whilst reading then use the timer to automatically turn off after an hour. The combination of the birdsong and the rumbling thunder gives me enough alternative sounds to listen to whilst masking the noise in my head and ears.
Although it doesn’t get rid of my tinnitus it allows me to cope as it ensures I get off to sleep peacefully and in a relaxed state. It is important for us tinnitus sufferers to get a lot of sleep and try to keep as relaxed and unstressed as possible so we can manage and train our brains to cope. Whist we cannot always affect events that occur during the day we can allow ourselves some space and peace at night.
I listen to the sounds through a little Bluetooth speaker at a volume that allows me to pick up each noise but not so loud that it stops me hearing other sounds outside or in the house.
Along with some deep breaths it helps me create an environment of peace and relaxation.
Try it and see if it works for you…

Good App
Can you please allow me to create two frequencies at once in the same ear? Allow me to set one frequency to left ear only and a separate frequency to the right ear? I have tinnitus in both ears. My right ear has one specific frequency. My left ear has two different frequencies. Thank you for your app.

Excellent and helpful
I’ve been using this fir quite a while. It’s an excellent app that let me dial in to match my tinnitus exactly. Definitely helps me to suppress it and to reduce stress. Highly recommend.
Response from developer
Thank you for your lovely feedback. I'm very happy that it's helping you. Feel free to get in touch with any suggestions for improvements. All the best!
Relief!
It took me only a few minutes to find the sound that completely masks the low hum in my left ear. The sound is barely audible to me but masks completely. Wow.

Great
Frequency is so specific, should be able to save
I like the concept. I’m suffering from constant ringing in my right ear. This app is great at matching the frequency of that ringing. I had to come back to the App Store for instructions because the app itself is not very intuitive. Also, once I found my frequency, it seems silly that there’s no way to save it. Especially after getting the paid version. I’d much prefer that feature than being able to listen to other things and this at the same time. Seems like a “save” feature would have been first on dev’s list…

Amazing app
Worked to mask my extremely aggravating tinnitus which sounds like two low alternating tones. I mixed the "tone" with the rain and the ocean and finally I could sleep or concentrate on work. Love the way you can control the frequency of the sounds until tinnitus "disappears". Also wonderful is the way it stays on while on other apps for example I could listen to my audiobooks again with the masking tone in the background.
