Semaine shows the calendars already set up on your iPhone — iCloud, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Google, ICS subscriptions — in the view Apple's Calendar app leaves out: the week.
SIX VIEWS
• Day, working week, full week
• Planner: a paper diary page, six ruled boxes, the weekend sharing the last one
• Month, with the grid above and the chosen day's events below
• Year, all twelve months at a glance
ON THE HOME SCREEN
• The week in miniature, one coloured block per meeting
• What is left of today
• The next meeting and its countdown
• Three lock screen formats
DAY TO DAY
• Long press an empty slot to create an event
• Drag to move a meeting or stretch it to change its length, recurring ones included
• Join button on Teams, Zoom, Meet, Webex, GoTo and other online meetings
• Clashes flagged in the grid and in the detail sheet
• Weekly recap: time booked, number of meetings, longest free slot, CSV export
• Search across every visible calendar
• Weather in each day header, from Apple Weather
• Declined invitations hidden, as Exchange should have done
• Invitation notes stripped of their HTML, with links and numbers tappable
• Built-in user guide, and an icon that follows the phone's light or dark mode
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no trackers. Your events never leave the device. The weather, switched off on installation, is the only feature that uses the network, and it sends only the coordinates of the town you picked — never your location, which is never even requested.
French and English, light and dark mode, pinch to zoom.
Worth knowing: Semaine reads the iOS calendar database. Calendars that the Outlook app keeps in its own store are not visible to it. Add the account under Settings › Apps › Calendar › Accounts, or turn on calendar sync from within Outlook.
