Great app!
I paid for this app and reviewed it years ago (when it was under a different pricing model). I still like it. But for the $300 you’re asking for *now,* you really need to go ahead and figure out how to make this app run on iPad Pro!! No more excuses!! Multiple users have asked about this and thus far it seems all requests have been ignored without even an explanation. C’mon now, we’re still rooting for you!

Great tool for those with ADHD
The Today Habit Tracker app has been monumental for me as someone with severe ADHD. Being able to plan ahead and create daily and weekly routines, along with corresponding widgets, has made scheduling and planning daily life a breeze. The app is simple, elegant, and full of features. I have subscribed to a year of premium due to its benefits. However, I’ve noticed it lacks some critical functionality and contains a couple bugs. I’d love to see an update with some or all of the following addressed!
* When selecting “view/edit data” on a custom chart, the app crashes — there is no way to change, remove, or edit the number entered originally.
* Some health categories I am interested in displaying are missing — like medications taken/skipped
* Being able to launch shortcuts or apps within a habit could be a great feature to make completing tasks simpler. * I would love to be able to create a section for “bad habits” — most of what I use the app for is daily and weekly tasks like laundry, meds, and exercise. Having a section for bad habits, like arguing, vaping, drinking, etc. where I could keep track of these habits and focus on quitting them could be great.
* I would also love to see more integration with other third party apps, like Spotify (for quick launching playlists and choosing tunes for each habit), Calm/Headspace (for quickly starting a random or preselected meditation), Nike Run Club (for starting workouts quickly and seeing more detailed information), and possibly smart home apps — like HomeKit, Alexa, LG Thinq, or Tuya — setting routines from within the app and having access to information like washer/dryer time remaining would be monumental.
* The Pillow sleep tracking app, which is made by the same developer, isn’t integrated at all into this app — with sleeping habits being integral to a healthy lifestyle, I’d love to see more feature tie ins between the two.
* Milestones, which are essentially mini checklist widgets sitting below a habit, don’t automatically reset daily with no option to have the app do so. I use this feature for tasks such as my meditation routine, morning rituals, and logging medication I have taken on a specific day. Being able to choose to have these lists reset daily, as well as being able to see a history of what was checked off on what day and when, would go a long way for me.
* The Welzen meditation app, which is prominently featured on a widget, isn’t available in the U.S. app store — once the widget is added, it is functionally useless. I’d love to see a revamped mindfulness feature!
Overall, this app is a great tool for those who need it, and with some improvement, would be an instant purchase for me! As these bugs and missing features are addressed, I will definitely up my rating to 5 stars — this app is very close to being perfect!

No Widget
The app description update says widget. I paid for the Premium twice and still don’t have a widget option.
Rarely updated
Minor fixes only
This app desperately needs updates
This one-great app has been abandoned with no updates or developer response for years. Please update it. It’s becoming unusable.
Looks like abandonware!
Likely abandoned:
* intro video doesn’t work (though a web search finds it on Vimeo)
* no update in 2 years
* copyright dates on web page only thru 2021
* email bounces because the embedded address is toda[sic]@neybox.com (today@… works, but no response as I expected).
Premium Buyer beware.
(Odd because sister app Pillow is working well, updated, etc.)
Update 4/14/25: reply from Today/CS “…Today has indeed fallen behind lately, but we are still planning and working on app improvements.” OK then, let’s see if the empirical result matches the verbal promise. I hope so.

Mixed bag pros/cons
Pros: nice looking interface. Can set habits to be at specific days or x times per week/month. Integration with health a nice plus
Cons: a bit clunky to set up habits, a habit i set for only Sunday shows up every day. The counter shows the number of times you’ve done the thing, but not out of how many (eg task i want to do 4 times a week shows how many times it was done but not the target number, so i don’t remember the goal (eg 2 / 4 or 3 / 4)

Great app 😁
No Home Screen widget !?
No widgets ? That would literally be the easiest thing to see the numbers in Home Screen
What a waste of a wonderful app
Wish they would update which could have been the best looking and functional app for habits…
Great but no widget
I really like this app and it’s worked well for me, but its lack of a widget means I’ll probably need to look for something else :(
NEW EVERY YEAR
The best tracker and reminder of who and what you are, create habits that truly last, just keep it simple.
Where’s the sound?
This app used to have a cute sound whenever you tapped it. Now only haptics? Idky, but it’s making me literally crazy. Haha yes, I know how insane that sounds.
Widgets?!?
Where are the widgets?
5 yes deleted
5 yes of yoga deleted today

The apps you’ll never not need
Went Downhill
Habit tracking UI needs solid improvement. Entering the status of a habit for a particular day is so hard. The App randomly assumes multiple check ins, or marks the entire week as done or skipped, and reverting this is equally frustrating.
If you have not paid for the full version, save your money and avoid getting into this app for your habits.

Widgets don’t to add to streak counter
Ever since the update, when I tap on the activity, it shows completed on the widget, but not in the app itself.
Now full of bugs and barely loads.
Used to be one of my favourite apps. But since last year it’s become buggy, glitches out and is practically unusable. I’ve contacted support, the developers and founders of the company directly and haven’t heard back from anyone in 6 months +. Sounds like the dev team no longer keep the app up to date.
