Latest update broke pit temp
This app was working fairly well for me, but the latest update has made it so that I can’t adjust the pit temperature from the app.
Disappointed
I have had this app for a while. Used to work OK (a bit unstable).
However, was forced to upgrade today, and now it wants me to scan the QR code on the device. There is no QR code on the device, so the app will not progress beyond this screen and is quite useless.

Does not support older devices
”Matador Wireless Smart Thermometer - 2 probes” as sold by Bunnings is no longer supported and scanning the QR from the user manual gives ”unsupported device”
Do not request to scan code
After having this for 3 years Why are you asking to scan a code when we usually don’t have that code anymore, the app used to work without it, now it stopped
Don’t waste your time
Doesn’t work - constantly drops connections and struggles to reconnect - extremely frustrating and ruins the cooking experience - better off with mechanical probes and temp sensors - save yourself the hassle
