Great grill, poor app
Guys, the grill is PHENOMENAL! But how come we can’t get some quality of life upgrades for the app? It works, but it is cumbersome. IF the app remains logged in for you, it defaults to the “how to” section. I know how to use the grill. Have it default to grill controls, or allow someone to pick what it defaults to. Update the firmware of the grill controller as well please. Allow us to remove the reminder to close the lower vent. This thing could be great, you guys would totally control the market for charcoal grills!

Disappointed
The app is horrendous. I love my 22” Weber kettle so much that I have to remove the Venom just so I can use it again. Deleting and downloading the app every time I use the kettle has stopped working for me. This sucks!
App doesn’t measure up to pit
For such a refined grill, the huntsman, the venom controller app, this app, is an abysmal failure. It’s clunky, not very intuitive, the ticket creation section is broken and it just feels like total garbage.
Please, trash this app and start over. You’re likely running off potential customers who might be interested in upgrading to the huntsman, but if gauging it by this app, I could see where some would think the grill may be just as bad. Which is definitely not the case. It’s the best grill on the block, sadly supported by the worst app in the smart grilling world.

No notifications
App doesn’t send notifications to my iPhone or iPad. Timers, etc, work fine on the unit and I can control the unit with the app, but zero notifications. I have it set to allow notifications on both iOS devices.
Needs updates
Good when it works. Disconnects constantly. Can't leave grill unattended and check with app.
