Won’t do anything without a subscription

At the very least, I would expect to be able to connect my ODP reader and get some basic information about my vehicle without having to use a subscription. I’d be happy to pay for a subscription if it does what I need and I can verify that beforehand.

However, despite the app saying a subscription is just to “unlock all the features” it will not even connect without push, pushing me through a subscription sign-up.

This could be a great app, I don’t know, because because I can’t even verify that it works before paying for it.

AD CLAIMING PHONE HACKED

Really? You allow an ad that pops up showing “phone hacked” BS messaging, which then takes you to a “phone cleaning app” in the app store(why does Apple even allow this app on the store?) and if someone isn’t the smartest, they go on to download this app and you now have someone in your phone for real. SHAME ON YOU!

We don’t control individual ads directly, but Google does provide a way to report them. If you see the ad again, please tap the ad’s info/options button (usually “X”, “i”, or “Ad Choices”) and report it as misleading or inappropriate. That feedback goes directly to Google’s ad review team and helps remove these ads faster. If possible, please also send us a screenshot of the ad or any advertiser/app name shown in it. Do not Use

You can not check anything whiteout paying, and on top of that doesn’t provide nothing better than the free version of car scanner, I wasted 12£ for nothing

Not for me

Edited: NB this is a completely separate app to the well known Android Torque Pro app, with a similar icon - don’t be fooled!! Used to love this on Android and bought that version, so I was excited to see they’d brought it out on iOS, however they have price gouged to the max - really expensive subscription only, and unusable without it (absolutely full of time-out ads, most features disabled), over complicated, and doesn’t look half as nice as the Android version used to. Couple to that it took me ages to get it to work as it’s geared to get you to subscribe leather than use the free version, and it wouldn’t pull down any fault codes which my preferred app will. It’s a no from me.

Super slow and very limited data

I bought the one year subscription so I could have the ability to have a portable system for diagnosing cars. The app is very slow to read data so you can't see anything in real time. On top of that, there isn't a very good amount of data points to be read. I was really hoping to be able to use it instead of my scan tool all the time. It was a total waste of money.

Lower-cost or lower-quality adapters can significantly affect refresh speed, available data points, and overall real-time performance. For the best results, we recommend using a high-quality adapter such as the OBDLink MX+, which should provide a much more reliable experience. Torque Pro used to be amazingly useful. Now it asks for consent to your data for a long list of companies before you open. Tracking and advertising data. So looks like it will be uninstalled.
What a shame.

Waste of money on an F350 Powerstroke

I bought this to monitor some of the DPF and soot PIDs but soon realized it has VERY limited useful functionality for Powerstroke. Complete waste of my money as the pids rhat it has are basic and most aren’t relevant to diesels. It could not read the soot load. This used to be a great app years ago. It they have made it horrible. Just go get FORScan into have a Powerstroke

Terrible copy cat of the legit android version

App really pushes you to buy a subscription and locks anything meaningful behind a paywall. Im not the kinda person that pays a subscription without getting to test full functionality like the other obd2 apps. Subscription prices are absurd too. You’re better off spending money on an actual diagnostic tool like the top don scanners.
I also hate that the dev uses a very similar name and app icon to the android version of torque pro. The legit version of torque pro is android only.

I purchased this on the basis they claimed to work with most cars!!!

However, it would not for love nor money work with my Vauxhall. I even had a specialist look at it!

So reached out to support and requested a refund immediately after discovering it didn’t work with my car and was IGNORED ENTIRELY!!!!

These people shouldn’t been on the Apple Store and I’m escalating this as it is theft!….

Save your money, there’s plenty of Apps far more superior than this in the App Store!!!!!!

This step is often missed. Depending on your adapter, the connection type should be set to Bluetooth, Bluetooth MFi, or Wi-Fi.
