Very poor
Archaic, buggy, inability to group rooms. Just a lazy piece of development

Just ok
Works ok, a bit slow to load.
Worst part is that the app keeps forcing me to sign in again , please fix this issue. So frustrating.

Irritating aspects, Honeywell stoically refusing to accept.
I bought this system because I wanted to evaluate it on behalf of my customers (I work as a gas fitter) and I have a multi-zone system. Because I have supplementary solar hot water, I wanted to be able to reduce the hot water set temperature on sunny days. Unfortunately the hot water, whilst settable, is not programmable, so once per week I have to change the setting from 40C to 60C to eliminate legionella. Irritating for an expensive system, but the most annoying aspect of this system, and I can’t stress this enough, is TPI. It’s method for prevention of temperature overshoot is to switch the output off for a proportion of the time as the temperature of the room approaches the target. This causes zone valve noises on a regular basis, plus boiler cycling, and no matter what system settings I use (and I’ve just about used all permutations) I can’t tune it out, nor turn it off. I don’t think anyone from Honeywell has had to live with this system. If they had there’d be a button to turn TPI off. Honeywell were completely deaf to my arguments. I shan’t be recommending it to my customers until these problems are attended to.

Been running it for a couple of years
So I converted our heating system to this one about two years ago. All rads on HR90s and this app to control.
It’s ok but not life changing.
Previous to this I ran a Sonoff system, it cost about £20 and took an electronics degree to manage. This system cost about £700 and is quite easy to run.
The app hasn’t been updated since I started using it. It could do with a few feature improvements.
I want to turn everything down when I’m out. I can great. But I want to turn everything up on a cold day and I can’t.
Two of the HR90s stopped working so far. Not fun at £90 each.
The numbers on the display are just numbers it reports it in degC but that’s not accurate as the temp sensor is by the floor. So don’t think you can set each room to the same temperature. Each room needs hand crafting.
The app says it can do things like detect when the window is open. It can’t that feature is a fail.
There’s no zoning. So I can’t cluster all the downstairs rads and turn them all on or off at once
Honestly these things are a great idea but the life span of them isn’t really what I expect. Old manual heating control systems ran for 20years plus with no failures. These things run for a year and start needed things looking at.
So bit of a rant there but over all, it’s ok. But not life changing

Lacking in modern functionality
The app provides the basic functionality for controlling individual zones of heating but lacks the flexibility of other heating control systems- for instance the away function sets all zones to 15 deg by default but this cannot be changed, the Day Off function says it sets all zones to the Day Off schedule - Saturday by default but this is not programmable and its not clear which zone’s Saturday schedule it adopts - waste of time. The Custom button says all zones will follow the “custom” schedule but there isn’t one! There hasn’t been a new feature added during the 4 years we have had the system. There is no “boost” button for the water so you have to open the water page and select “on” then tell it how long - a boost 1 or 2 hours button maybe? There are more annoyances about which I will write later.
