I downloaded the Tor on my phone at my hotel and took a lovely walk through Dublin with Sian my audio virtual tour guide. It was fantastic. I could go with my own pace. I could stop at shops. I could have lunch. I could sit at a park. I could take pictures. I had a wonderful day thank you TouringBee.

Touren gut, App schlecht
Die Touren sind sehr informativ und unterhaltsam. Was wirklich extrem stört, ist dass die App beim Wechsel von/zu Foto regelmäßig hängen bleibt oder auch direkt abstürzt (iPhone SE 2. Generation, aktueller iOS Stand) Man hat also die Wahl: Tourguide oder Erinnerungsfotos.

Great self paced tour. A lot of history and information in an easy to follow format with an offline map. I could take my time, pause and re listen. It was exactly what I wanted for the day!

Great way to explore old Munich
This was an excellent guide which enabled us to explore Munich at our own pace and in our own time. We got to see a few different things that we may have otherwise missed. My only grumble is the 3-D map is almost impossible to follow on the ground. It would be better to have an option of a two dimensional map which would be easier to follow.

Absolute waste of money
I was forced to purchase an entire year of this app. I tried to use it in Colmar, France but only the most obvious sights were on this app. The way they sell it is that they will tell you about places you are standing in front of prompted by GPS. This was not true at all. Also, at hugely populated tourist sites, it doesn’t tell you more than you can read immediately on Wikipedia or a browser or ON THE SIGN RIGHT IN FRONT Of YOU. Total waste of time and money. I want a refund.

Obscure Recommendations
While other audio guides sound like robotic textbooks, this app's narrators have real local accents and genuine enthusiasm. On top of that, it shared restaurant recommendations that were both excellent and a little obscure.
Shared experience
My husband and I have opposite travel styles. I want to read every plaque, while he wants to move fast. During our last trip, TouringBee let us each take the tour at our own speed, and we met at every landmark.
Reliable maps
The offline mode is a godsend. I downloaded the Barcelona tours before leaving my hotel, and when I got lost in the metro with zero signal, the app still worked perfectly, and my map updated via GPS without internet.

Crowd-free tours
I hate group tours, you know what I'm talking about: the crowds, the forced pacing, the awkward small talk. So I'm glad this app let me explore Paris entirely alone while still learning everything a human guide would teach.
Good app
I was strolling in Naples when the app suddenly started narrating about a tiny bakery I was passing. Turns out it was a hundred-year-old shop with incredible history, and I'd have walked right past it without TouringBee.
Good Listening but difficult to navigate
I only saw the link to Google Maps after I was done, but I could have found that useful around number five. Marseille’s winding streets made it difficult to stay on track, but I did discover other gems along the way. The audio is fantastic even if you can’t find the spot.

This audio tour is easy to follow and serves as an excellent guide to many parts of the city. It’s full of history and explains why the different people commemorated right the city and numerous locations are significant. If you don’t want to follow a guy with a weird flag around town—the tour lets you go at your own pace, wander, and understand what you’re seeing.
