You need to pay for everything

You can’t message people without paying you can’t reply to people without paying you can’t look at photos without paying probably the worst dating app I’ve ever tried clearly these other reviews are bots cause they don’t mention anything about this

TransMe actually hits different.

I've been using TransMe for about five months, and I've actually gone on more decent dates through it than I did in two years on Tinder and Hinge combined. That sounds like a flex, but honestly the bar was in hell.

The biggest win: people here actually know how to have a conversation. My first match asked about my job and my favorite hiking trails – not my transition timeline, not if I'm "pre-op," not my deadname. We talked for a week, met for drinks, and had a genuinely good time. It didn't turn into a relationship, but we're still friends and he introduced me to his trans cousin who I'm now casually seeing. So I guess it worked out anyway.

Second thing: the safety features are legit. You can verify your identity and choose to only match with verified users, which cuts down on catfish and chasers hard. The report system actually does something – I flagged a guy who sent a weird message about "curiosity" and he was gone within a few hours. Try getting that response on Bumble.

Now the downside. The pool is tiny. I live in a decent-sized city – about 300k people – and I swiped through every active profile within 30 miles in three days. Three days. If you're picky, you'll run out of options fast. I've had to expand my distance to 60 miles just to see new faces, and that's not ideal for actually meeting up.

Also, the app could use better filters. I'd love to filter by what people are looking for – casual, serious, friends-first – but right now it's just basic age and distance. A few more sorting options would make the limited user base easier to navigate.

All that said, I'd still pick TransMe over any mainstream app. The people here are respectful, the conversations go somewhere, and I don't feel like a zoo exhibit. If you're trans or nonbinary and looking for a real connection, give it a shot. Just be prepared to expand your radius – the quality is there, just not the quantity.

No more explaining, just connecting

I'm so tired of being a walking FAQ on dating apps. Every match meant bracing for the same exhausting script: "So what's your real name?" "When did you know?" "Are you planning to go all the way?" I felt less like a person and more like a Wikipedia page someone skimmed before deciding if I was "worth it." I'd delete the app, swear off dating, then loneliness would pull me back in. Rinse and repeat.

A coworker recommended TransMe, and I figured—why not one last try? The verification process was quick but thorough, and immediately I noticed the vibe was different. No blank profiles, no blurry photos. Just real faces, real bios, real people.

Within a week, I matched with someone who led with a question about my sourdough starter—not my anatomy. We swapped recipes, argued about the best flour, then moved on to travel stories and childhood memories. He's a soft-spoken engineer who builds model trains; I'm a graphic designer who paints terrible watercolors. Neither of us asked the "trans questions." He just saw me as the woman who burns toast and overwaters her plants—and I saw him as the guy who can't resist a good pun.

We've been texting daily for three weeks. No ghosting, no weird confessions. Just easy, honest conversation.

I been on this app a couple of weeks spoke to a loads of trans women one who I reported is threatening to share inappropriate pictures of me all over social media platforms and another women is trying to sell me sex videos for money I have had serval conversations on here a none of the conversations were about dating it’s supposed to be a dating app not a sex buisness

Actually felt safe enough to be myself

I've had TransMe for a few months now, and I still remember the first night I opened it. I was nervous – not because of the app, but because I'd never been on a platform built specifically for people like me. I didn't know what to expect.

First match messaged me about the book I had in my profile photo. We talked for two hours about sci-fi novels and terrible movie adaptations. No weird questions, no awkward pauses. Just two people nerding out. We met for coffee a week later, and it was surprisingly easy. He asked about my job, my family, my dog – all normal stuff. I didn't feel like I had to explain myself or defend my existence.

That didn't turn into a relationship, but it showed me what dating could feel like without the usual weight. Since then, I've had a few more matches and every single conversation has been respectful. The photo blur feature gave me control before I was ready to fully show my face. The report button actually works – I tested it once and the profile was gone within hours.

Only downside: the app can be a little slow sometimes, and the interface feels a bit basic. Could use a cleaner design and maybe faster loading times. But honestly, that's minor.

The real thing is this – for the first time, I didn't feel like I was being evaluated. I just felt like a person. And that's more than any other space ever gave me.

TransMe actually hits different.

I was completely over dating apps. Like, done. Every single one felt like a playground for chasers—or people who’d ask invasive questions before we even exchanged five messages.

Then my friend made me download TransMe. I rolled my eyes, but fine.

Night and day. The very first person to message me asked about my dog. Not my body. Not my surgery status. Not “so what are you.” Just: “What’s your dog’s name?” That has literally never happened to me.

We talked for about two weeks, then met up for tacos. He showed up on time, brought his pup too, and didn't make a single weird comment all night. We’ve been together three months now, and he’s never once made me feel like being trans is something to tiptoe around.

TransMe isn’t huge, and honestly, that’s why it works. People are respectful. The mods actually ban the creeps. It genuinely feels like a real community.

If you’re trans, nonbinary, or just tired of the usual garbage, give it a try. It finally feels safe out here.

Pull out your credit card

This app will make you waste your time in setting up an account to make you pay to message anyone! You can’t see anyone close to you just the whole world on the other side of where you are and don’t worry you can’t see any likes, views or even fill out your profile with out the app restrictions of basic words you can’t use in the about me section. If you want to do anything in this app be prepared to pay for any use of this app you may as well pay to download the app as well because that’s what you’re going to do anyways.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much

Look i’ve tried a bunch of dating stuff before and it was always the same — weird messages, people asking invasive questions right away, or guys who just wanted something secret. so i wasn't really excited about transme at first. but my friend kept telling me to just make a profile so i did.

put up a pic of me at a concert, wrote something dumb about loving iced coffee and my cat. and idk something about this app feels different. people actually read your bio. first guy who messaged me asked what show i was at in my photo. that’s it. no weird stuff. we talked for like a week before meeting up.

when we finally hung out he brought me an iced coffee. didn't ask a single weird question. just wanted to know about my cat's name. we've been seeing each other for a couple months now and he's never once made me feel like i have to explain myself.

transme isn't perfect but it's the only place i've felt like just a normal person dating. if you're trans or nonbinary or just tired of the usual nonsense, give it a shot.

Fake accounts and can’t contact anyone unless you sign up to pay monthly.

My ex told me I wasn’t a real man. Then I found TransMe

My ex cheated on me and actually said it was because I “wasn’t a real man.” Those exact words. That messed me up for months. I started thinking every guy I’d ever date would secretly feel the same way and just not say it. Or worse, they'd pretend to be okay with who I am and then go find someone else. That thought just ate at me. So I stopped trying. Deleted everything. Didn't even want to talk to anyone.

Then one night I was feeling really lonely — like 2am scrolling kind of lonely — and I saw someone mention Transme online. They said it was one of the only places where chasers actually get banned. I was like fine, whatever, I'll just look. I didn't upload a face pic at first. Just a blank profile. No bio, nothing. I was literally just going to see what was out there without actually participating.

But after a couple days I thought okay fine I'll write something short. I wrote “into punk shows and bad coffee.” That's it. I didn't even say I'm trans because I was scared of the usual weird messages. And I swear — within like a day, this guy messages me. Not just a “hey” or “what's up.” He asks me “what's the worst coffee you've ever had.” Such a silly question but it made me laugh. Then he asked about a band I mentioned. No weird questions about my body. No invasive stuff. He just talked to me like a normal person.

That literally never happened before. On other places I either got ignored, fetishized, or someone would match just to argue about trans people existing. It was exhausting. Transme just feels different. I don't know how to explain it. People actually read your profile. And when someone acts weird — like one guy asked if I “still have female parts” — I reported him and he was gone within an hour. The moderators actually do something.

Anyway I've been seeing that coffee guy for three months now. He makes me feel like… just a guy. A normal one. He never makes it weird. He introduces me to his friends without hesitation. My cheating ex who said I wasn't a real man? Honestly I don't even think about him anymore

Horrible Site!

Not worth paying a subscription to have a bunch of scammers on this site! Very disappointed in this app! Don’t waste your time to register!

My boyfriend had a Transme account. Joke’s on him.

Found out my dude was on Transme behind my back — messaging other trans girls, talking all sweet, sending heart emojis and "can't wait to meet you" stuff. Meanwhile I'm at home cooking his dinner, thinking we're actually good. At first I was so mad I couldn't even see straight. Like, really? You're going to cheat on your trans girlfriend with other trans girls? And you're not even smart about it? Left his phone unlocked on the couch like an idiot. But after the anger wore off, I got curious. What's so great about this app anyway? So I made my own profile. Not for revenge. Just wanted to see what the hype was. Figured if he's out here having fun, why shouldn't I?

Matched with this girl Lena within like an hour. She's also trans. Her first message was a blurry picture of her dog making the dumbest face I've ever seen, with the caption "he judges you." That was it for me. We started talking and didn't stop for three days. When we finally met up for drinks, we talked for five hours straight. The waitress had to kick us out because the place was closing. Lena never made me feel like something to hide. She laughed at my silly jokes. She held my hand across the table like it was the most natural thing in the world. She didn't ask invasive questions about my body or my past. She just liked me — like, actually liked me. Three weeks later I dumped my ex. He tried to say I was "overreacting" and "being dramatic." Okay buddy. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

That was three months ago. Lena and I are still going strong. She still sends me ugly pictures of that same judgmental dog. I still can't get enough of her. We go out in public together, she holds my hand like she's proud to be with me. My ex keeps texting me asking to "catch up." I just send him a screenshot of his old Transme messages and then block his number. So yeah, he cheated. Whatever. Transme accidentally gave me someone way better. Best trade ever. Honestly? Getting cheated on was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Easy app from me.

To be honest, TransMe has been a total game-changer for me. I've tried all the other apps, and it was either endless chasers or having to explain my whole identity every single time. TransMe just gets it right away. Super easy setup, clean layout, and for the first time I actually feel like I'm seen as a person, not a fetish. I've had some solid conversations and even met up with someone locally for coffee, no ghosting, no creepy messages. That alone puts it miles ahead of most dating apps out there. If I had one tiny wish, it'd be adding a few more filters — like setting a tighter distance range or filtering by interests. Nothing major, just would make swiping even better. Right now it's still totally usable, that's just a 'would be nice' thing. Other than that? Love it. Customer support actually writes back, and you can tell the team cares. It's honestly refreshing. If you're trans, non-binary, or a genuine ally who knows how to be normal about dating, do yourself a favor and download this. It finally feels like an app built for us, not just marketed at us. Bot & Fake Profiles

I noticed after awhile that about 95% are fake profiles using same picture just under different names.
They all have coincidental living arrangements, basically same life circumstances with a twist and within a short time need a phone repair or new phone, WiFi subscription renewal, sick family member they’re talking care of, parents died suddenly in an accident of some type. Then they claim to be financially stable and on the next hand want you to open an account for them or access an account of theirs because they can’t.
Typical scammer actions. Beware because their bite is real which is the only thing real about them. They all have a different technique in getting to reel you in.

My guard finally came down

Ngl I was about to delete all dating apps. Every time I matched with someone, they'd eventually ask "so what's your deadname?" or something equally exhausting. I'm MTF and I'm just tired of explaining my existence.

Downloaded TransMe last month mostly because a friend wouldn't stop talking about it. Set up my profile pronouns, identity, all right there. No essay needed.

Matched with this girl who likes the same random band I've been obsessed with since high school. We chatted for a few days. She never brought up me being trans. Not once. Just talked about music, her annoying coworker, and her cat that hisses at everyone.

We met for ramen. Two hours in, she goes "honestly sometimes I forget you're trans. you're just you." I literally almost choked on a noodle.

That was three weeks ago. We've hung out six times now. Last night she held my hand and just... didn't let go.

App works fine. No weird glitches. Reported one creep and support replied in a few hours. Only downside is not many people on it in my area yet. But the ones who are here? They actually get it. Way better than I expected tbh.

He never asked me the one question trans fear

I'm a trans woman. Every first date, I hold my breath waiting for it: "So... have you had the surgery?" It ruins everything. Even when people don't mean harm, that question makes me feel like my whole existence is reduced to what's between my legs.

On TransMe, I matched with a guy. He said he'd dated a trans woman before. I was skeptical but curious. I figured maybe he'd still slip up.

We met for drinks at a quiet little bar. Two hours passed. He never asked about my body. Not once. We talked about his terrible guitar playing (he really thinks he's good), my failed sourdough starter that never rose, and the great debate: why do elevator close-door buttons even exist if they don't work? Normal stuff. Human stuff.

When he walked me to the train, he said: "I just had a really good time. You're just... a person I like." I didn't say anything. I just smiled. Then I cried on the subway. Happy tears. The kind you don't expect.

We've seen each other four times since. Still, he hasn't asked that question. Last week he cooked me dinner. He burned the rice. I didn't care.

The app works fine. No bugs. I reported a creepy profile once support handled it overnight. My city doesn't have a huge user base yet, but everyone here knows how to treat trans people like regular people. That's not nothing. That's everything.
