About
Photograph your tools on a sheet of paper. Get back a Gridfinity insert with a pocket cut to each one - ready to print.
THE PAPER IS THE RULER
A US Letter page is 215.9 by 279.4 mm, exactly. Once Trayce finds the four corners and undoes the perspective, millimetres per pixel is known rather than estimated - so the pockets come out the size your tools actually are.
ONE PHOTO, ONE INSERT
Lay the tools out how you want them stored. Take one photo. Trayce traces each outline, places them on the 42 mm Gridfinity grid, cuts a pocket per tool at whatever depth you choose, and adds a finger scallop so you can actually get them out again.
PRINT IT IN TWO COLOURS
One part, with a single filament change so the tool shapes show up in a second colour. Or two parts - a tray plus a thin coloured inlay for each pocket, printed separately and dropped in, with no filament change at all.
ADJUST WHAT MATTERS
Snug, just right or loose. Per-tool depth. Finger notch size. Keep your layout or pack it tight to save plate. Save a setup and every insert after it comes out the same.
EXPORTS A 3MF
Both parts with their colours, in millimetres, ready for OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer or Cura. STLs too.
YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE
Every bit of the image work happens on the device. No photo, outline or model is ever uploaded.
