FAQ Can TresorLink see my bookmarks? No. Bookmark content is encrypted on your device before it syncs. TresorLink cannot read your saved URLs, titles, notes, or tags. Do I need a master password? No. TresorLink uses Apple device authentication for vault unlock: Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. There is no separate master password to remember. What happens on a new iPhone, iPad, or Mac? Sign in with the same Apple ID and keep iCloud Keychain enabled. Encrypted bookmarks sync through iCloud, and the keys needed to decrypt them sync through iCloud Keychain when available. Can I recover my bookmarks if I lose a device? Usually, yes, if your encrypted bookmarks and Keychain keys are available on another trusted Apple device or through your iCloud Keychain setup. TresorLink cannot recover encrypted bookmarks without the matching keys. Does the Safari extension track browsing history? No. The extension is built for explicit actions such as saving the current page, opening the popup, and opening saved bookmarks. Are exported bookmarks encrypted? No. Exported bookmark files are plaintext for compatibility with other apps and browsers. Treat exports like sensitive documents.
