Great app but drained battery overnight using 50% of battery on iPhone, it wasn’t even playing. Unplugged from carplay after work. Could be a crashed process in the background.
Great little app!
I wanted to reach out to these folks as a voice over user and give them PROPS for NOT forgeting about us as most developers do. This is a very simple straightforward easy to use, interface! There are no MYSTERY buttons or buttons that simply do Not WORK! Everything does what it's supposed too. I would love to see a recently played feature but that's about the only thing I'd improve! They do not release updates just for the sake of updatet as do others! The selection of stations is HUGE! If you can't find something to listen to in all that, you are way to picky LOL! Go get it and ENJOY!

Thanks for the kind words about our accessibility work! There is a recently played feature that's accessible from VoiceOver on the Now Playing screen. Navigate to the "Show Track Info" button and then select "Show Track History" and you'll get a list of what's played. You can drill down into each track to get more information about it (including links to Apple Music, etc.) If this isn't working for some reason, get in touch with us at support.iconfactory.com
Beautiful app, album covers awesome
My favorite radio app for both terrestrial and internet stations (their selection of curated stations is great). I especially like this app’s ability to match album art with songs. A beautiful app, well designed.
Surprisingly exceptional sound quality
This is an excellent radio streaming app that includes album art, which I love. And the Apple CarPlay integration is well done and easy to use.
But the thing that took me by surprise was how good it sounds when listening to high bit rate MP3 streams and FLAC. streams. There was a noticeable improvement in the sound quality compared to other apps included some that claim to be high fidelity. This app makes no such claim that I’ve seen, but instead just delivers it.

In constant use
It’s a great radio streaming app with great support on iOS, Mac and Apple TV. The new widgets are great too especially on my iPhone.
The forever price is dirt cheap for the hours I’ve got out of to the point I kinda wish it had a tip jar or other means to provide additional support for the app.

Just wish the controls didn’t fall off the screen on a smaller-screen device like the 2022 iPhone SE.
The best radio app
Triode supports all my favorite stations and has sooooo many great features on iOS, CarPlay, and tvOS. Get it, you won’t regret it.
The Best iOS Radio App
I mainly listen to a few stations throughout the day—WXYC, NTS, KFJC, etc., and this app is by far the best that I’ve tried. Great to get away from TuneIn which has gotten so much worse over the years. They update it frequently, and it works perfectly with CarPlay. Great for custom feeds. Amazing!
Unfortunate UI changes
It’s very unfortunate that developers are following Apple’s design trend and making on-screen elements more difficult to find and read. I love this app and hope they’ll come to their senses to revert to a more usable product.

This is a very good radio app. In fact, it is one of my favorites except for one drawback. The only way to save favorite stations is to subscribe. It’s too many other apps almost as good that do no charge for features

Great app but barely any updates
This is a great streaming radio app which lets you go around the world and the CarPlay support is very well done but the subscription isn’t worth it. I did it to support the devs but it seems like they abandoned the app, there have not been updates in a long time. The whole point of a subscription is that you get constant updates! If you’re just going to abandon the app then make it a single purchase or something and not a reoccurring subscription. Also the lifetime option says it only lasts for 3 years which is the exact same price as subscribing for 3 years normally which makes no sense at all! If they start updating the app again then this would be 5 stars for sure!

Used to be fantastic
Glitchy - multiple restarts. Paid for the lifetime subscription. Since iOS 18 when connecting to any stream the stream will not start with the three tones and then it will not go into the background. So - when swiping to another app Triode stream will stop. Only solution is to kill Triode and restart. Been waiting several months. Feels like Abandoned-ware.

This has become my favorite internet radio app. Easy to use, many great stations, doesnt bog you down with tons of ads. Just good music with grate variety. Pick a station, genre, decade, artist, whatever you want, and they will list many stations that fit your requests
forgotten by the dev
it is so sad that Craig loses interest in developing the apps. They sell lifetime subscriptions but do not care about adding features and fixing bugs. This is not a good attitude and I will avoid the Iconfactory in the future.

The best internet radio app. Period.
My favorite app from Iconfactory. I use it on my Mac, in the car, anywhere I want to listen to my favorite stations. It’s perfect. I’d be incredibly sad if it ever went away.
good app but needs improvement
this is a good app. however it gets 1 stars for the following reasons 1 no way for the user to refresh the database. other apps such as eter, broadcasts, etc. have this ability no watch app. 2 there are bugs for voiceover users.. i hope these are fixed soon. when they are it will get 5 stars.
