It's a must if you can round in Sydney on buses

Not user friendly
How hard is it to make this easy to use? Trying to work a sample trip Morisset to Kurri Kurri and back a day in advance. It’s clumsy, there is no easy way to use it - and if you’re in your older years, forget it.

This was great when it was free. This is for public transport, it should be free!
Can’t get it to search
Put in departure point, destination and time. App won’t then actually do the search.
Rubbish from the very 1st minute
I downloaded this app, first thing it asks you is upgrade- for a fee?!?!
Then in planner it allows you to enter start location but freezes when you enter destination.

Worse than Melbourne Public Transport
Sydney Public Transport is actually worse than Melbourne, if such a thing is possible. And Trip Planner- Transport NSW is truly dreadful. Buses don’t come when they are scheduled; the app times do not correspond with arrival and departures of buses. And the bus drivers have absolutely no clue of what is happening with changes along their route. Simply shocking.

This app is much improved from the previous version I tried but it still isn’t great. I often have to enter locations in twice before I get the correct one. It would be great if it would remember my home address but it doesn’t. It also doesn’t allow you to restrict routes. I’m not really interested in seeing any other bus route other than the 805 yet it persists in supplying me with a ones that I will just never catch.
UPDATE: At times the results are ridiculous. I wanted to go from my place to Glenfield. Trip Planner solutions all involved a bus and two trains. The actual solution was a bus and a train.

Subscription model for a public service, What a joke.

Could be so much better
Having just returned from Perth, I’d suggest TfNSW look into licensing or copying TransPerth’s app. It’s free, saves and lists favourite places, memorises journeys and is generally far more user friendly. Why do we have to pay for this app? It’s also clunky compared to Perth’s.
