Failure to launch
I loved the app because it used to work, but for weeks it has been hit and miss - just miss for a couple of weeks now. The Bluetooth won’t stay on. It disconnects too often

Not happy at all
I am using it from past over a year. I feel more comfortable without using hearing aid. After having hearing test. My doctor pressured me to take it. I did big mistake to spend that much money on this useless product. I tried to use it as Bluetooth with my iPhone. I do not hear good phone sound quality. Even listing person getting too much noise. I went to agent who sold under warranty device.They just replace the wires and charged me copay $40 for nothing. There was no need to replace anything.

Poor not recommended
Battery life is extremely poor. My cellphone works fine. This is so frustrating and annoying having to change batteries every few hours.

Clunky and buggy
Many of the settings don’t respond. The ui is poorly designed. It needs major revision because as of June 2026 it’s very clunky to use.
Directional feature
For the last 3 days the directional feature and speech feature has not been on the app. I could have used them! My hearing aids are ONLY as good as the app is!!!
Reinstalled app different
One of my hearing aids was defective and had to be replaced. Truhearing app had to be removed and reinstalled. My goal settings were much reduced and cannot be changed. Also, my daily conversation settings are missing completely.
Sucks
It seems like every other time I try to turn on the sound to my hearing aids, this App says the Bluetooth isn’t connected or whatever! I’m sick and tired of this B.S.!!

TruHearing Constantly Disconnects
The first 3 weeks of using the aids they were wonderful. Week 4 they began to disconnect at 20ft. Week 5 they disconnect if my iPhone was in my back pocket. It’s so frustrating that I am beginning to wish I had bought another brand of aids… I’ve been back to the business that I purchased them from two times and the fixes are only temporary. For $5k I expected more

Lost some of my features
Once my phone updated and I switched to truhearing. I lost my live listening. I can’t hear what people are saying if in a meeting. I used to be able to put my phone close to the speaker and hear him plus everyone else in the room. Now I’m having problem using my hearing aid for phone calls as well.

Awful App
I have used this brand for two years. I can make temporary changes only. I am unable to create personal custom settings. I have to call someone to have them do that. It is impossible to duplicate different scenarios over the phone with a tech.
My wife made the comment this week that it is like before I even had hearing aides.
I will never buy this brand again! I am trying to find a replacement. Unfortunately it will have to be out of pocket since my insurance only covers this brand. My first and only other set was the Kirkland brand. They worked great!
It is sad that this company does not trust their customers enough to allow some individual customization!
Several of my friends use a variety of brands. Every one of them can customize their device.
Do not buy this brand! You will be disappointed!!

Slow to open
This app is very slow to open and load hearing aids bluetooth. Previous versions of the app were just ok. But this version is really slow and offers no more features than the old one. Come on True Hearing! For these expensive hearing aids, you should be doing much better.
