Great but…..

I love this app but the only problem is most of the time I get nothing but a white screen when first trying to open game. I reboot my phone then try which allows game to open normally. Not sure what glitch causes the daily white screen but

Fun and puzzled

I have been having fun playing and winning, just wish I understood the strategy when playing the games.

Real money

I’ve not won big but I have won real money by playing games in this app. If you have a Truist deposit account (checking or savings) you should get this app. Well worth it!!

Truist Ruined the app

I had this app when it was just long game. It was great for saving money for specific things and the games were good obviously. However I came back because I just split my finances and now I’m required to open a full blown bank account with truist (which I was denied). When it was just a savings account it was awesome. It DID NOT need to become a banking system. Honestly really disappointing. The only thing is that they still wave the maintenance fee if you have 500+ in the account. Still crap you can get denied.

I am already one month trying to use the app and they can not fixed the problem.

It is so different and difficult

I use to play long game omg it was the best but now it is so even difficult to login I have to make this silly Bank thing and then login it was much better before I even played and won on this one it is hard to even win they give you 1,0000 coins but they fail because you lose quick ! Not happy about it especially because you have to go over a lot of login . It even log me out and I didn’t even remember my user name number silly and difficult no no nop 1 star unsatisfactory! Bye.

Earn your interest

This has been a fun way to earn interest on a non-interest bearing account.

Free money and Fun!

I love this app because it gives you free money into your savings account but it’s also fun to play all the different games! Earning money to play games on your phone. Sold!

Tried to use again, found out it was purchased by a bank with no branches in my state.

I used to use the Long Game app years ago to hold and make and save some pocket change. It’s now been several years, I remembered it and wanted to try it again. Upon trying to do so I found that it had been purchased by Truist, which wouldn’t be a problem by itself except that they do not have any branches in my state for opening an account and the closest one to me is in Texas (I live in Oklahoma).

Due to these restrictions making it harder and more restrictive to set up I cannot use it again for both saving, banking, and gaming needs.

Running total of winnings?

I really like the app but in this interest rate environment, I constantly go back as forth as to keep my money at truist. What would be great is if there was a “lifetime total” winnings. I’d love to see that and it would help with my uncertainty.

Need more locations

This seems like an interesting way to save money and pay off bills. But, there are only branches in Alabama.

Response from developer

Deposits

I love playing these games but hate that each payout is an individual deposit. Please aggregate the winnings into a single deposit asap

MAKE THIS RIGHT

I am in disbelief. Being a good video game player I have done what I could to improve my gaming. Rigorously and swiftly I have managed my in game currency hoping to better as a gamer. I won $300,500 and waited for my winnings and the money is still not in my account. This has a lot to say about the structure and decision making of this branch.

Winnings

So far, I enjoy this game and it's put me in the habit of growing my savings account while realizing it is a " long game" to save for a goal. Those few cents I earn every so often are starting to add up! On my Truist statements, these winnings are called deposits. At year end time, will this be displayed as interest income on my tax statements or are you just giving me free money with no strings attached?

motivates me to save! it’s called long game for a reason

i’ve been using this app every day and it motivates me to pay attention to my savings. the small goals remind me to save each week and it’s fun to win cash from games. it’s called long game for a reason, the small cash prizes add up over time of you play every day. it’s like earning extra interest on top of your bank’s interest. you earn coins to spend on gameplay by just logging in every day and by growing your savings

Very LOW odds of winning.

I understand that when you play, there’s a CHANCE to win, but it is obviously programmed to make sure you don’t win often, or if you do win, it’s a very low amount. Every time I win coins, it’s lower than the amount I use to play the game. If I win money, it’s always between 1-10 CENTS. The higher you pay, the “higher” the chances are to win more and more frequently. However, the more I pay, the less I make. 200,000 coin game, and I won 1 cent. Like seriously?? If I pay more, you should AT LEAST make it so you can’t earn less than 25 cents or something. I shouldn’t be able to win a cent after 20 plays on a 200,000 coin play.

If you’re going to play this game, play the cheapest games. You will NOT earn what you think you should if you pay more. Just grind out the cheap games they offer.

Love the App with one Exception

I love how Truist has created a fun environment to learn and grown financial knowledge. My one major complaint with the app is that my bank account statements are now full of small deposits from playing the games and it is frustrating trying to navigate through all of them to view my actual transactions. I wish it were possible to build a pot of savings within the app and transfer them all at once to your bank account rather than each “winning” hitting as its own line item
