Best Mastodon App
There's a suggestion that the next update (as of 2026-03-19) will be the last. Even so, I'll use this app for Mastodon as long as it works: it's easily the best I've used.

I like this app so much, the design, the profile page… just wondering if developer can add a feature of adjusting font size? Default font size is too small for me

Do you want the forum//threads way of viewing things back for mastodon? This is the move, hopefully they implement lemmy a bit, it works surpisingly well, ive always wanted an app that showed microblogging content (twitters, etc.) like forums (reddit, lemmy)

Promising but has a number of problems
Adding a second account doesn’t work. Either nothing happens at all or an “error logging in “ message flashes up.

No way to quickly go to the top of the timeline.

Beautiful design, solid experience
One of the most feature complete Mastodon clients. Quote posts, scheduled posting, and more. Plus, it’s a just a darn fun UI design with lots of little pleasantries throughout. Give it a try!
Instance logging in error
Cannot log in my main instance since latest update, which is accessible using browsers
Still the only app that gets context right
Now, it could become the only app with a smart tl. One can Hope. Sora app gets that but the ui is lacking. It would be nice to have something simar in trunks.

iOS notifications do not work at all
Anyone else having this issue? No push notifications are ever received. Only when you open the app does the last notification show up as a pushed notification. Otherwise, the app is decent. An improvement would be easier access to lists and hashtags one is following and navigating between them.
Need button bar everywhere, disable animation
Forces “Markdown” rendering even when original was not written that way.
Please choose system font & size as initial setting. Requires too much effort to pick similar combinations. Need to have button bar available everywhere, not just on Home feed; option to not download images, videos; and option to disable animations in profile icon & display name. Please disable edit notifications; do not care at all. Some truncated toots show fewer words than the threshold set for “read more”.

Does work
Unlike the other user I had no issues getting set up. Perhaps it was an instance issue? Real review once I’ve tried it out.
Uploading photos is a pain
Everything about this app is 5 stars.
But there is something about sharing photos that doesn't work. I was able to upload one photo by opening a new post/attachments/photos & long pressing the photo i wanted and hitting “select”. It uploaded easily. Reproducing this does nothing & drops the menu back to the new message.

Beautiful app, honestly, it only feels a bit sluggish to me. Apart from that, amazing app guys, I’ll keep using it.
Doesn’t Work
Downloaded, logged in and all I get is a permanent spinning wheel. Deleted, started again, same result. No issues with other Mastodon apps. Looks like I can’t even try it!

Beautiful UI, and very easy to use. But there is no need to tag myself while replying my own thread.
