Keep your phone in your pocket. We'll keep talking. Events happening near you are now narrated even when the app is in the background and your screen is off. You walk, you take in the view, and the guide keeps telling you the story. And a trip is one trip again. Before, every time you paused the guide and started walking again, the app opened a brand-new trip — a full day could end up chopped into ten pieces in your history. Now, if you come back within an hour, it's the same trip. The way it actually happened. The map is easier to read, too: north stays fixed when the guide is off, the compass is back, and the buttons are where your thumb can reach them. About the last version: it wouldn't open on iPhones running anything older than iOS 26. That's fixed — updating takes care of it. Sorry for the time you spent locked out. Everything else was housekeeping: steadier GPS at startup, sign-up without interruptions, no more surprises when you log in or out, and a plans screen that tells the truth about price and limits.
