It’s saying IA when it’s not needed and there are no IA anyway. App should be more simple. Lots of really simple features are missing like naming favorites shortcut.

Please add a countdown time especially when watering manually so people know how much time is left especially when using a traveling sprinkler. And please put a pause button in case the sprinkler needs to be adjusted and you can resume the set watering time instead of having to guess another set time for a traveling sprinkler.

This is one of the most poorly designed apps I’ve ever used
I don’t believe the other reviews of this app are real, I don’t. This app is awful.
Waste of time
I tried several times according to instructions, but Tuya does not pair up with my device.
Ad popups
Could be five stars. Now when you open the app, an ad always pops up. What garbage is this? Also, the UI could be improved for smart lights could be much improved.
Also, when a signal is weak, you get a brief popup saying the signal is weak, but it’s right in front of the button to turn on/off my device so I have to close the popup or wait for it to close which is so annoying because even though the signal is weak is still works fine so the popup is also useless!!

Appalling response
Tuya deny any responsibility for the app when contacted through the service email. They say contact the developer/maker of the device you’ve purchased when there are lots of makers who depend on Tuya to operate the devices. Incredible, just unbelievable.
I want to love it it just doesn’t function properly
I have tried over and over to switch my temp to Fahrenheit and it won’t do it. It says it’s on F on the app but it’s C. Also when I try to adjust the temp at times it will constantly jump back to some other temp. I am using the split unit to control the temp of my greenhouse and need something that I can monitor off site

Seriously basic. Want something simple like a routine to “Notify me if my garage door has been open for 10 minutes”. Cant be done with their automation logic engine. Just pathetic.

实在没法给高分。我在国内用，这个手机ID是美国的，没办法使用国内的涂鸦智能，只能随身再带一个安卓手机以便使用，这真是神一般的脑回路，是解决不了呢还是从未想要解决呢，多少年过去几乎可以确定答案是后者，只是难以相信一个有前景的公司是这样的态度对待市场罢了，也许是天系佛性就是要为同行铺路吧，我现在的家庭应用已经都尽量避开涂鸦，因为我常用就一个手机，不愿来回换国区美区应用

Hard to connect to most stuff but on the ones it connects to its good
Daily use
My door handles and my cat litter box connect with this app and it’s been great for over three years now the door handle. I barely have to charge up every like couple of months and the fingerprint always works great whether it’s 110° out or it’s 40° out and the key works great as well easy set up cat litter boxes been working great for like three weeks now, and the app always seems to be properly updating and working.

Useless for 2.4ghz wifi
Incapable of pairing to my 2.4ghz wifi with spaces in the password. Despite every other of the dozens IoT devices I have with 0 issue this fails to connect everytime. Worked for less than a week
Garbage
Terrible app to use for the litter box. You can tell it was written with some sort of auto translate tool because English proficiency is a problem. On the app, “Bright Value” adjust the brightness of the light inside the litter box. Close enough I suppose. But “Flow Rate” adjusts the brightness of the control panel on the litter box.
But you get what you pay for. A litter box that’s 1/4 the price of a litter robot is going to have issues somewhere.

This home automation control app has the potential to be a great tool but unfortunately it falls flat in the most basic and essential area: lighting control. Specifically, the lack of support for saving custom color animations makes the app almost useless for anyone looking for anything more than a tacky party light show. If you are trying to create a sophisticated lighting environment such as something calm, ambient, or elegant you are out of luck. The app seems designed solely for chaotic fast moving color blasts that look more like a rejected nightclub demo than a proper smart home lighting system.
Here is the problem. The developers clearly did not put much care into the included animation presets. They are jarring, overly saturated, and move so fast they are more likely to cause a headache than enhance a mood. There is no sense of refinement. None of the slow luxurious fades you would expect from premium LED installations like the subtle atmospheric lighting you might see on a Dreamliner aircraft. Instead it feels like someone threw together a few random color cycles in a rush and called it a day.
And that would not be the end of the world if the app let you create your own color schemes and save them. But it does not. You cannot save your own animations. You cannot even save a custom color scene across your devices. There is no way to replicate a look once you have created it. So if you manage to manually get twenty lights looking perfect and then need to recreate that on a hundred lights you are going to have to redo everything by hand. That is incredibly frustrating.
Lighting is one of the most important parts of smart home automation and the app completely misses the mark. Instead of giving users the ability to express their design taste, replicate real world lighting effects, and save their creations, the developers have locked users into a handful of loud unsophisticated presets. The app feels more like a toy than a serious automation tool and that is not a compliment.
Let me say this again because it matters. Users need the ability to save custom animations and lighting schemes. Without this the app is just a demo. It is a nearly great product that ends up being almost useful. The frustration of spending time getting lights to look just right only to realize you cannot reuse those settings is enough to make anyone abandon the app completely.
Dear developers, please give users the ability to save custom animations. Let us choose fade speed, brightness, timing, and palette. Let us apply those saved schemes across all our lights. This is not a luxury. It is a basic expectation. Until that happens, this app will remain a half working solution that teases greatness but delivers disappointment.
If you care about your users and want your app to be taken seriously in the world of home automation, fix this. Add these essential features. Stop treating it like a toy. Give people the creative control they clearly want.
Because right now it is just a rave machine disguised as a smart home app.
Update: I can now no longer slow the lights down, so all of the LED color changes are very fast. 40% is the lowest speed. It should go all the way to 1%

Great app! It works reliably and is easy to use. One feature I would love to see is a simple Timer feature. For example, let users choose (Turn ON after 1 hour) or (Turn OFF after 40 minutes). This would be very useful and much more convenient for daily use. I hope you consider adding it in a future update. Thank you!

Problems on iPad
While the app works well on iPhone, on iPad there are issues. I m controlling a Moes hose valve, mode wt601. All controls are visible on the iPhone app, but many are inaccessible on the iPad. Otherwise, it seems to work fine
Too much AI intervention
If users aren’t using AI maybe they don’t want to, and add a huge bar onto devices page will not just be helpless but also be annoying. Really unsatisfying experience

I loved this app for years until recently, I was unable to update my feeder schedule. This comes at the same time they have released an AI-based SUBSCRIPTION for device assistance. $70/year to get customer service on a device.
