Awful app
I had this app for a few years as it’s difficult too get hold of a paper copy of TV Times.
I had so many problems every week trying to download it that I ended my subscription and got my copies from another app where I experienced no problems. This app has recently been sold and no longer works in my region. So I thought I’d give the TV Times app another try in the hope the app had been fixed.
No such luck in fact it’s even worse! Sadly I will now have to resort to alternative tv guides. SORT THIS OUT TV TIMES!!

Price jump.
This has been my go to tv guide for more years than I can count, first in physical and then digital. Unfortunately the astronomical price increase from £3.99 per month to £7.99 means it’s no longer affordable. I’ll be cancelling asap.

We believe our subscriptions continue to offer good value, with an annual subscription to TV Times coming in at £1.34 per issue, which is less than half the price of an individual issue. Nightmare
I have been using this app as I cannot get out for the magazine. Even though mu subscription is up to date every time a free trial is offered I am unable to download the new magazine. Repeatedly following the steps set out in the help section I am still unable to asset the magazine. Seems I will have to cancel.

Access to the App
Every week I have problems downloading the TV Times magazine. Please fix the problem. I continue paying for this weekly mag but in the last few weeks it’s gone pear-shaped.
You have proved you are incapable of fixing this so I have told you to cancel my subscription.
To reiterate - I’m paying for something and have been doing so for months but have been unable to download it do to a problem of your making. So you owe me about 6 months of payments

Payment taken but magazine not received
Unreliable.
Despite having a current subscription, I still get asked to pay for the current copy. If I delete the App and reinstate it, the subscription reactivates sometimes other times I have to ‘fight’ with it. Very annoying
Fabulous TV magazine
I have been buying TV Times for over 40 years, always been my favourite, love the way tv pages are laid out and interesting articles.
Usually buy every week but as it is difficult to get out and get it at the moment while we are all self isolating, decided to do a subscription, for the time being at least so that I don’t miss it.

Easy to read and very clear

After months of perfect service in last 2 days app will not open, starts to open then closes down. Any reason?
Wont Open
Keeps jamming on the opening splash screen. All you get to see is the TVTimes logo and it wont let you see the magazine you paid for. Rip off.
Mag is great...app is hinky
Since the last update, it is great on some things..the new layout for example. But it is very hinky. The picture wavers and it is not good at flipping pages.
Appalling system
Out of focus most of the time. hard-to down load, had to pay twice to get. Terrible app
Free trial
It shows a 30 day free trial is available but there are options to pay for a month or a year, nothing about a trial.

Worked fine in November. Next time I used it was 25th Dec and I could not get it to move forward without closing it down.

Poor app as even though I can sign in it has stopped letting me download. Just purchase or take out a subscription.

Great magazine terrible app
I have read the TV Times since I was a child. The magazine is great but this app is terrible. It's really just a PDF of the magazine. It takes ages to download and difficult to read on an iPhone. Come on TV Times! This app should not just be a copy of the magazine for the price you charge. Check the metro newspaper app. It's brilliant and so easy to read and navigate.
