Hopeless. almost impossible to enjoy watching anything with the constant freezing, adds and just poor interface.

Chromecast: Ad audio kicking in 15s before visual
When casting, ad audio kicks in early and de-syncs audio and video for rest of episode.
_Partially_ resolveable by disconnecting from Chromecast and reconnecting though that does tend to trigger more ads.

I try to watch Chelsea lose but it says error code for no reason at all. Very annoying . Smashed my phone because of it

Improvements
The app doesnβt remember where you are up to watching.
Not great.
The older version of this app used to save which episodes you had watched and auto start the next one when you get to the end. This version doesnβt. Itβs disappointing as TVNZ was my go to for streaming. Now itβs a bit of an effort. Pls fix it to have the same usability as previous versions to allow it to stay up there with other streaming apps.

Streaming through the app is poor. Doesnβt track the episode your up to, no auto play.

Portrait view lock intensely annoying on iPad
I find it hard to believe that a whole team of designers, analysts, developers, testers and their management decided it was ok to release a new version of the app that is locked in portrait view on an iPad until you actually play a video. Have any of you tried to use your app on an iPad with a keyboard attached?? So am I supposed to keep taking my keyboard on and off just to view your app?It is frustrating, annoying and if a previous reviewer is correct against the Apple license agreement. For goodness sake make this a top priority to fix.

Frustrating
Iβm sick of having to sign in all the time with an email code. Also it doesnβt save where youβre up to and you spend ages watching extra ads while you try and find where youβre up to.

Wrong side up
The new updated app will only display sideways on my iPad Pro. Shows play correctly in landscape but all navigation is portrait.
Appalling operation
The app modifies the Accessibilty settings on my iPad. It disables the Touch settings making the iPad unusable.
Episodes dont auto play
This app is painful, episodes wont auto play in the iphone app or smart tv app. Terrible

Where do we start? App wonβt load, when it does the reception stop starts, freezes and then completely stops.
The recordings wonβt fast forward or rewind, but fear not!!! The ads still load perfectly and are forced in front of every recording you want to start. Honestly tvnz make us pay for it instead, even just a bit, for a substantially better service. Right now I never touch the app as itβs useless.
