No dual timer control, no 12hr clock adjustment
App instructions say theres a feature to have a second timer, but the feature isn’t there. I have the twinstar light controller pro and an S series light and would like multiple timers. Everything else is pretty good though, especially the color adjustment.
Hot mess
This controller is useless. Linking worked once than stopped can’t control a pair of lights. I turned off my lights manually and they won’t turn one the next morning. This is worse than their manual controller that does remember its state after power failures. I’m really disappointed in these capabilities. The light hardware itself is good. The controller needs immediate work. Software team should be embarrassed to release such shoddy code.

App guide different than app
I am in the process of setting up my new light (twinstar s line V). The app guide shows dual timer and my app does not have that option. The app guide also shows a 60 day plant start but my app only shows a 25 day start.
Updated iPad accessibility
My light controller can now work on my iPad. This makes me happy. Thank you to the team that updated the app. It is a bit tricky to return back to home, so that’s why I am giving it a 4 star.
Leaves a lot to be desired
I was excited to see group control land, but alas it doesn’t work. After setting up a group and connecting to the main, the linked devices don’t sync at all or obey the controls (I have lightcontrol pro with two 1200S V)
The usability of the app could be improved, the menu letters at the bottom are confusing (H button doesn’t work at all). They should look at AquaIllumination’s app for some inspiration. For example a quick option to turn light on temporarily for 10min, 30min, or 60min.
The Timer works but is too simple. I want to control schedule and light/color at the same time.

It’s even worse after update
I now need to reboot the app to get it to connect to the light. The first time I open the app “Connect” doesn’t even appear. Before it often forgot timing settings, and now this. If the app doesn’t improve I’m just gonna switch lighting brands completely.
No iPad accessibility
Formatting for the iPad is horrible. Sent an email to the company and haven’t heard back at all. I can’t scroll or add my devices which renders them USELESS! A horrible app so far for me. You also can not download the app for your desktop, so no work around. Please test your app on all devices before releasing to the people.

Es una pena que con la alta calidad que tiene la luz le hayan puesto un controlador tan malo, ademas de que solo puedes poner una configuración, por que si fuera de hora modificas la intensidad para que no haya foto periodo y ver decoración esto influye que cuando enciende en horario se tal cual si no le vuelves a dar a guardar aunque es un ajuste separado…por otra parte cada vez que hay un corte de luz siempre que vuelve aunque sea un corte de 2 segundos enciende al 100x100 como si ninguna configuración tuviera guardada, o sea te vas de viaje hay un pequeño corte y se queda encendida permanente hasta que vuelvas y lo peor es que lo mas probable es que no se pueda reparar con una simple actualización si no que habrá que gastar en otro controlador…

Horrible
Tengo conectado el controlador por BT a una Serie IV 600 EA. La pantalla al encender comienza a dar fogonazos durante varios minutos. Da igual que el dimmer propio de la pantalla esté al máximo, al mínimo o como esté. Da igual que se le programe un amanecer de 0’minutos o de 60. Se enciende y apaga constantemente. Lo he tenido que quitar por miedo a que se averíe la pantalla

Lightcontrol for S series ver. IV
Love that Twinstar finally has app support, and that it has a backwards compatibility option for older versions of their lights. Unfortunate I can’t control color unless I have a ver. V light, but understandable given the physical requirements to do so. Only recommendation for the app is to allow setting multiple scheduled settings for a single day, so I can have it bright during the day, and maybe a super dim setting in the evening to mimic moonlight.

밝기와 타이머가 작동안하게 됩니다.
밝기와 타이머를 설정해두고 어플에 들어가지 않는다면 모든 것이 괜찮습니다. 그런데 조명이 꺼진 시간에 잠깐 어항에 손대려 조명을 켰다 끄면 그 다음날부터 타이머가 작동하지 않아 조명이 켜지지 않습니다. 부랴부랴 어플로 조명을 켜보면 밝기는 1%로 고정되어 있습니다. 디밍기능의 시작이라 1%인가 했더니 3시간째 1%로 있습니다.
메뉴얼컨트롤러에서 타이머설정에 불편함을 느끼고 추가구매를 한건데 후회됩니다.

지금까지 사용해본 조명중 최고입니다. 앱 디자인과 품질 만족하고 조명도 성능도 압도적입니다.
원인 모를 초기화가 반복됩니다.
처음 타이머 설정값및 밝기, 색조절 값이 매번 어플 들어갈 때마다 초기화됩니다. 부스트모드도 해제해도 다시 들어가면 켜져있고, 돈들여 블루투스 모델을 산 이유를 잘 모르겠습니다.
