Not what it seems.
This is one of the most prohibitive apps I have ever used. If you go off face value it will restrict your ability to fly.
I am not sure how the app gets its information on wind speeds but it does not reflect the actual speeds. I know it’s only a rough guide but it’s really not very accurate at all.

Pretty useless now
June 23rd 2026 and thunderstorms with heavy downpours for the last 3 hours - yet UAV forecast informs me 0% rain and minimal cloud cover? And not the first time the App has got it wrong for me. It used to be a good app. I will not be renewing my subscription when it expires

Was doing okay but then three pricing increases you gotta be kidding for how long it sits on your phone and does nothing because the weather is so bad you can’t hardly use it. You can hardly fly a drone these days because of restrictions and everything else and then when you ask for information I give you some excuse isn’t much support whatsoever except they seem to well let’s go for a lot of developers. I think that making apps is going to make them Rich not realising they have no others in this world today we Harvey hardly have any money and all these apps you have to keep on having all bills up so something has to give so I think twice guys about what you’re taking off people stop driving your ego we all have to live and put food on the table

Great Tool
I use UAV Forecast almost every day. It’s invaluable for seeing current conditions and whether it’s safe to fly. I recommend this for anyone with a UAV.
