Not what it seems.
This is one of the most prohibitive apps I have ever used. If you go off face value it will restrict your ability to fly.
I am not sure how the app gets its information on wind speeds but it does not reflect the actual speeds. I know it’s only a rough guide but it’s really not very accurate at all.

Pretty useless now
June 23rd 2026 and thunderstorms with heavy downpours for the last 3 hours - yet UAV forecast informs me 0% rain and minimal cloud cover? And not the first time the App has got it wrong for me. It used to be a good app. I will not be renewing my subscription when it expires

Was doing okay but then three pricing increases you gotta be kidding for how long it sits on your phone and does nothing because the weather is so bad you can’t hardly use it. You can hardly fly a drone these days because of restrictions and everything else and then when you ask for information I give you some excuse isn’t much support whatsoever except they seem to well let’s go for a lot of developers. I think that making apps is going to make them Rich not realising they have no others in this world today we Harvey hardly have any money and all these apps you have to keep on having all bills up so something has to give so I think twice guys about what you’re taking off people stop driving your ego we all have to live and put food on the table

Great Tool
I use UAV Forecast almost every day. It’s invaluable for seeing current conditions and whether it’s safe to fly. I recommend this for anyone with a UAV.
2 rate increases in 3 months?
I was enjoying the app and swallowed the first rate increase but a second one followed only 3 months later which doubled the monthly fee in under a year.

Fantastic app
UAV forecast is a very intuitive app that I use to help plan my drone telecom inspections. It saves me time and money. I can check cloud ceilings before I go to a tower, instead of wasting time waiting for proper conditions. Highly recommended for drone pilots

There is no single free function anymore. “Preview” is a sample unrelated to your location. You HAVE to buy a subscription to use anything inside the app. BEWARE!

This is not a free app anymore. Used it loads. But now full subscription. Absolutely rubbish!

Bin voll und ganz zufrieden. Ich bin heute von der App zufällig mal gefragt worden, dass ich mich anmelden soll wegen der Wiederherstellung der Daten das dürfte das wahrscheinlich bei monatlichen bezahlen bei Apple wahrscheinlich das geringste Problem sein. Bei jährlicher Bezahlung wäre das Ganze vielleicht zum überlegen.👍

It’s a free preview, everything else is locked behind a ridiculous subscription package, just like everything else these days. As a hobbyist it’s a No for me.

WARNING. Do not download. Got Greedy, like they all do. Zero weather functionality is free.
Used to be an excellent app, with great free features and then even better paid ones. Then all of sudden, there’s no free tier anymore. Absolutely everything is behind a paywall. Disingenuous at best, fraudulent at worst. “Free” on the App Store but it’s absolutely bricked unless you pay a subscription. Won’t do anything at all without paying. So it’s a paid app that the devs don’t have enough confidence in to list as such on the store.
Probably the silliest decision they’ve made is to show what looks like the weather dashboard saying “good to fly” and then all the different variables with a small box at the top telling you all the data is fake and just an example of what you’ll get. It’s not clear or obvious and I can see more than a few people thinking they’re on the ‘free’ tier and this what they see “GOOD TO FLY”.
Devs should be ashamed of themselves and app should be removed from the App Store

Does not respect In-App ratings and reviews setting
App is great except it ignores the iOS setting that is supposed to block apps from begging for reviews and will throw up a dialog asking you if you like the app and if you want to review it. Instant 1 star for not adhering to this.
