Unable to update on IPhone

It’s ridiculous that I would need to buy a newer model iPhone just to use such a simple app. It worked ok on my older android until they had me use my phone’s lock screen. Then it wouldn’t recognize the passcode so I had to reset my account snd go to the trouble of calling the bank for that odd username.
