Been using one on our dog for three years
Using a Uber Ranger on our dog when we go for walks in not our local field in case he follows a scent and gets lost. Originally purchased during COVID lockdown when dog theft was rising rapidly just to give us peace of mind.
Chose the Ranger model as it has a Remote Alert tone which I found essential years back when we had another brand on our cat. For the final 10m to your pet it’s so so useful to set the tone going (called watch finder in the app - they haven’t customised the app you see it’s generic and was written for a human watch tracker)
Also GPS location is the ONLY one that will find your pet. Their other options of cellular fixes (Local Base Station) have errors in location of upto 5km in our rural area. Pretty hopeless.
Nice and easy to see the locations of you and your pet on the apps map and you can easily click open Apple maps with pet’s location showing.
As others said you should be aware of how they work to get the best out of them. Read their website and others. The data only SIM card they supply does seem good at getting the location sms txt sent back to their cloud headquarters. Then your phone only has to contact their cloud via the app and not directly to your tracker.

Very good
I bought three popular cat trackers including this one to see which I liked best and this was the winner. Most accurate, most light weight and cheapest. I think most problems people have is that they don’t know how to use it properly. Make sure you read the instructions.
No map shows in app (iPhone XR)
Purchased tracker and subscription for cat. Map does not show in any mode, ever, even after updating to newest iOS and reinstalling app. My wife has emailed support, friendly reply but no solution (and the problem is identical on both of our phones, different iPhone models). 48 h and no further replies. Do not waste your money, I will have to start the undoubtably long and miserable refund journey.

Really disappointing
I had really high hopes for this and it’s been nothing but rubbish. If it’s not showing up as “offline” on the app, then the accuracy is horrific! Tracking my cat I found it was 70! Miles away, which he wasn’t, it’s caused stress and upset not taken the stress away. The app is so disappointing and too much at its early stages it’s not worth it. You can do much and the things you can do such as tracking history of where your cat has been just doesn’t work and it always says it doesn’t have “trajectory” for it.
Waste of time and money. Don’t cause yourself the stress. Invest in a diff tracker!

What a terrible app
Tracking history simply doesnt work.
Its slow and clunky. Who wrote this crap ?

When it works it is good, but more issues than not
In the space of 4 months, my cat has managed to lose two trackers. One ubequee replaced kindly as it was faulty, but the second is offline and can’t be contacted. It spends more time being offline, and can’t be located than actually working. Perhaps it’s the cellular network of our area—- but when we need to find our cat, and it doesn’t work-there’s not much point using it. The advantages are that it is a UK company and they are relatively quick to reply to email enquiries. They cannot be contacted by phone.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
If I could give this zero starts I would. Not only is the app continually inaccurate, telling us all the time that she’s many streets over from where she actually is, but after a month it has COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING and refuses to even let me log in. Pretty convenient being as they make you pay for the tracker and then buy a 6 month subscription in advance. Absolute joke. Shouldn’t even be legal.

Poor
I’m in the garden looking at my cat who is about 1 meter away, however according to the App & GPS he is 2.5 miles away. How is that any use to see where he goes? Can this be fixed?
Loving it! Satellite map option needed for tracking.
I’m loving this new gadget! It’s great to be able to see where my horse is in his field when I “locate” him. Id say it’s pretty accurate. However for “tracking” mode and “geofence” mode there is currently only a street map option which offers no context. Satellite map/view in these modes is essential. Street maps really don’t offer enough info when viewing a field/ open space.

Offline
Device is offline most of the time, and when it work the location is really not precise at all.
Good overall
Good app overall. Fairly easy design but feel it could be a bit better I feel. Needs a data subscription bought separately online to relay the tracking data back to the app. Easy enough to buy but couldn’t find anywhere how to cancel it so contacted customer support.
Does a good job tracking though. Does on occasion show my cat to be in the next village over but clicking “locate” resets it back to his actual location. And when looking at tracking data between certain hours, or even entire day, it correctly shows where he has been and doesn’t ping off to random villages.
Cat also managed to lose it in some bushes. Carried his collar home for us but dropped the tracker along the way. There is an option to ring to find it. Made it easy to locate as we could hear the little jingle.
Size wise it looks a bit bulky on a cat collar but doesn’t seem to bother him and is pretty lightweight so overall it’s good.
Only downside would be battery life for me. Since I was using on a new foster cat that had never been outside I set it to update location every minute. I found the battery would last about 24 hours. Could probably stretch to almost 30 but because I work fulltime I had to take it off him every evening to charge up to ensure it would still have battery by the time I get home the next evening. I think if you set it to update location every 10 mins or hourly it may last better. Not a big issue charging it everyday but I know for some of my other outdoor boys who go off for a couple days at a time it might not be ideal.

Not perfect
Had the tracker for 3 days now. It's good, does give some insight and piece of mind. Is it accurate?. Hmm. Not sure. It keeps saying my cat is in a village 5 miles away in one direction and then 2 miles away in another direction. It does tend to correct it's self most of the time, but if you want to follow and track your cat then this can be a pain.
The size of the tracker on my cats collar isn't too bad it doesn't bother her attall. Overall it's a good tracker but I think it could use a little work.

Works well
I like the maps swapping from street to satellite view. Satellite much better in the countryside
Tracks my dog
Does what it says. Might get another one for the cat
