What pathetic service UBL has. App never worked, customer service dosent bother and dont give a damn as they are boss to you rather than being helpful and protector of your money. They think they owe us. Shameless behaviour totally unhelpful. I wish i could go less than a star in review. They dont even deserve a review for thier poor service . Wont recommend at all. Create passkey failed
Im facing create a passkey error although my app is updated to latest version and my phone IOS is updated aswell. Please fix this, your service is becoming miserable day by day.
App not working Forced passkey usage
Not able to use my app as its forcing me to use passkey and the main problem is i can’t create a passkey cause the app has a bug so im unable to transfer any funds. Before this it was the perfect app compared to every other bank fix this so that I re review

I have updated to latest version of this app it was running smooy before update but since new update its gets hanged and no menue is displayed while pressing menu field.
Impossible to signup
The app’s OTP section is broken. I cannot enter the otp code to signup.
Create Passkey is not working
I have been using UBL app for a long time but the last app update is giving me problem while making payments online. It asks to create a Passkey which is NOT WORKING AT ALL. Due to which i am having issues in making payments even in my own accounts in other banks.
Kindly fix it or remove Passkey option or make it OPTIONAL for the end user.

terrible app get better developers
This is the a terrible app. otp fields are broken I can’t get into my account at all because the fields reset after 3rd or 4th number and nothing can be done with this app. Silly app definitely would never recommend this bank to anyone.
Biometric verification
I don’t know why we can’t perform biometrics verification on this app while I successfully did it on easypaisa app instantly. After a couple of attempts they restricted my account and asked me to visit the branch. Wth with your digital banking promotion if we still have to visit branch every time when we logged into the new device?

No customer address, no stamp on UBL pdf bank statement.
Previously, the customer's address was on the UBL account statement, but now it is not and All other banks also put their bank stamp on their online bank statements, why doesn't UBL do the same?
Perhaps because of UBL's lack of facilities to its customers, Amazon does not consider Pakistanis' UBL bank statements reliable. If you ask Google Gemini, he will never recommend UBL Bank to Pakistanis for Amazon.

Horrible Digital Banking
Knowing that a considerable amount of the population uses non-PTA phones, it is quite shocking to ask for OTP on the same mobile device. There could be thousands of other ways to enhance the security layer like other banks. Secondly, what's the point of giving login option on website when OTP gets delivered once its time limit is over or by chance if opt has been received on time then "OTP incorrect error" even on putting the correct code lol. Zero focus on user experience.

Nightmare to get into
Have tried to open a cash ISA but not easy online and I’m unable to use the same username and password for the app, so have been unable to open it. Also the website is poor. Will see if my money enters the account and if it doesn’t then I will use a different provider.

Needs to be native looking
The app is not bad comparing to other bank apps in Pakistan but still not smooth and fast. I don’t know why banking apps have to develop their own design language instead of making it native looking. Custom coded animations will always feel janky comparing to native apps.
Some improvements that can be done other than design overhaul that this app needs
- Push notifications for Raast RTP Payments
- Instant app notifications when money received/card spend etc
- Remove the need to manually swipe up to login, it should start Face ID authentication directly when opening app

Plz test your app before prod
I am unable to enter OTP while signup. Tried iPhone, Mac and iPad same issue on all three. Don’t know how they put the app on production without even testing g it. Such a waste of time and bad experience.
Poorly designed for iPad with iOS26
Even login page isn’t properly accessible. Moreover, can’t enter CNIC number for biometric verification.
