Not as good as Suno
I don’t know why this was said to be good software. The interface is as minimalist as could possibly be. There are very few options, the length was 30 seconds?!, the quality was okay but nothing special. I simply do not understand why this app was said to be competing with SUNO? Like I couldn’t upload to this app, it took forever to get the 30 sec clip to play, it was vaguely to description but I could’ve just pulled from public domain and gotten an identical quality result. Overall I’m highly disappointed and do not understand why anyone would rate this app above 1 star.

Wrong app
This is the wrong app to download. Get suno. I checked to see if you can add styles along with custom lyrics and turns out you cannot. I checked to see if I can get it on the website and you cannot. This is garbage, I want my refund for the 30 bucks I could’ve spent on the suno membership. Udio is made to goof around and not made for actual use.

Confusing app
I paid for a monthly subscription and registered, but I am greatly dissatisfied with the fact that every time I attempted to start creating a song, the system kept redirecting me to verification, and once verified, it prompted me to make an additional purchase. This occurred even before I could begin working on the song. I am extremely disappointed with this experience, and as a result, I have decided to cancel my subscription and am currently in the process of uninstalling the app. 👎👎

The prompt interpreter might have had a gummy before my session. Also the app takes custom lyrics as mere suggestions.

I’ve been using Suno for a long time. Been using DAWs for the last almost 30 years. Suno has given me some masterpieces, I even have albums across all platforms.
I figured I would give this a try. Has a pretty similar layout.. but the true test was using the same lyrics and Prompts from a beloved Suno mix I made.

The song I made, that was beautiful in Suno, with dynamic range, complexity and legit heart, in Udio became what sounded like Bob Dylan playing a keyboard with a hairdryer while Morrissey provides backup with a potato peeler on a voicemail.
Yeah.. I think I’ll stick to Suno.

Never got to try it
Too many rounds of two-factor authentication and was never able to access the app. Have about 13 emails from them to authenticate and when I do, nothing happens.

Asked it to make a nu metal song and it produced a metal song which is alot different to nu metal rather use suno

Does what it wants
I have this a try and thought for a brief moment of leaving Suno. Glad i didn’t. Out of 4 songs i tried to make it didn’t get anywhere close to being right. First song didn’t include any lyrics that i had created. 2nd song sung in gibberish. 3rd song i told to make a contemporary christian country song and it gave me some kind of soul pop song that sounded like it was from the 60s with music that can only be described as it it was from an Austin Powers film. Definitely will be staying with Suno.

I just downloaded the app and it has not worked from the start. I paid for a subscription and now the app says I don’t exist. I want a refund. I games make one song and it’s already has $10 that they shouldn’t have.
