Stereo Panning Exclusive
My favourite things about my old Megaboom’s and this app is the ability to stereo pan. No other UE or competitors have this feature, which is a shame but also a credit to this gen of speaker and app/support

Loses connection easily
Although easily to use the speakers loose connection with the IPhone easily. Any new speakers will connect over it.

great speaker. terrible app
the speakers themselves are the best on the market in terms of sound quality and work great when using only one speaker. however the advertising claimed these could be paired with up to 150 other speakers. i have found it impossible to pair even two. on the pc the amount of screwing around is incredible. the sound quality in stereo mode becomes muffled and distorted, and once set using the phone app it is no longer possible to turn the volume up or down using the computer.
the auxillary ports dont work either, the sound quality gets even worse.
if they would make an app for the PC these problems could be fixed but it looks like they have no plans to do so. if you plan to get these speakers because of the advertisment of pairing multiple just remember it is complete trash unless you are only using the phone app. output to stereo is fine that way. one other thing to note is that if you pair more than 2 speakers on phone/mobile app they all default to mono.

Very good
Pairs well will my iPhone 8 and my newer iPhone 16e. However I was not able to connect Samsung’s galaxy S23 via Bluetooth.Boom 2 speaker won’t show up on the phone’s Bluetooth ‘select device’ options.
