The best, unfortunately
This is the best representation of the old Dice Wars, but not quite there. In the old game, you’d reach a point where you were dominating, and the other teams would gang up on you. It made stuff harder. In this one, you’ve got a very good chance of winning if you go first. The challenge comes in going later and winning.

It’s pretty good IMHO
I thought the other reviews were a little unfair as I’ve been playing Dice Wars games for years and this definitely passed some hours for me. It’s not perfect but it’s a pretty good implementation and well worth playing.
AI weighted to heavy on computer player
Game set for easy and yet my 8 dice can’t beat computer player 4 dice, it’s time to delete and move on.
Blatantly unfair
The RNG definitely favors the computer players. I will lose every time to a stack of the same size when I should only lose about half the time. The dice roller definitely favors the computer. I will say the computer is smarter about its moves but the blatant cheating ruins that.
Enjoy this game.
Simple game flow but still fun. Keeping stats would be nice as well as a “hard” setting but still enjoy playing.

I like it! There’s one bug I’d love to see fixed, though. Whenever the game is active, it reduces the volume of all other audio playing on your phone (such as music playing on Spotify), even if you disable the game’s sound effects. It would be great if the game could avoid this and not modify the audio sessions for other apps!

Dice rolls are garbage. Player dice always comes up low. ALWAYS. Almost like game predetermines winner before start.
Random troop assignment also favors non players. Not a balanced game.

Disappointed
I was a huge fan of the old game, when I found this I was so excited. I’m not sure what they are using to calculate the rolls but it’s WAY WAY WAY messed up and heavily favors the non-player. Here’s an example I had all but won a game the computer had 1 land left with a double stack. It failed so now it only had one die. I attacked with a double stack and lost. The computer made 5 attacks the next turn!!! 5 all were a successful.

I was a fan of the old dice wars and this is just ok. I can consistently beat the computer and it's pretty fair rolls as far as I can tell. I wish this allowed you to randomize the maps and kept stats. This will do until the old dice wars reappears.
It's now loaded with ads in between matches that have no way to opt out unless you close the app and reopen. Very Annoying.

It's nice, but having a replay button after you've won would be fantastic.
