Ultimate Planner App User Reviews

I wanted to love this app

Cool app but not ready for prime time quite.
Things I love:
1) Integration with calendar
2) Nice layouts
3) ability to jump to date
4) ability to adjust layout as desired (though at the risk of losing things you’ve written)
5) ability to flip between horizontal and vertical seamlessly

Things that need fixing:
1) Can you not copy writing that you circle?
2) It deleted stuff I just typed when I changed to another page and then came back.
3) Can’t adjust typed fonts?
4) need to be able to add individual pages as needed
5) Need to be able to save / export
6) Need to be able to exclude finger input when using stylus
7) Need to be able to adjust the “adjustable” templates like you can on the website

Simple and free

For what I need - works perfectly- a clean and simple way to visually organize my work and personal plans. Like all the pre-built planner options. My favorite- exercise, meal for the baby, work’s to do list - saves time and finally I have no mess on my desk.

Useful

A nice combination of paper and digital planner. Definitely makes me feel more organized.

Not a bad app!

Works really well for me using a meta pen and iPad 7th gen I also created a planner on OnPlanners.com which I believe is the same people that made this app… it was almost exactly like the site was I used the same login and was able to create one in the app no problem
I actually prefer this over Goodnotes a lot more he integration with the calendar was seamless. The only 3 things I wish it had is more stylus settings, when your writing with the stylus I wish the toolbar at the top automatically hid itself, and I wish you could insert images… none of the note taking apps do the toolbar hide and it is suuuuch an underrated feature it would make the pages feel much SO more immersive like a real notebook if no ui was showing…

Absolute garbage

Most user unfriendly app I have ever encountered. Doesn’t allow you to manually type in additions to your planner, you are forced to draw them in with your finger. Such a frustrating waste of time!!

Response from developer

Thank you for your honest feedback — and we’re really sorry the experience felt frustrating. You can add typed text: tap the "T" icon in the planner's top menu, add a text element anywhere on the planner page, then enter text using the keyboard. However, the app is primarily designed around handwriting, which is why drawing with a stylus or a finger is the main interaction method right now. That said, you’re absolutely right — this workflow is not as intuitive or convenient as it should be. Improving the typing experience is one of our top priorities right now. We’re currently working on a major update that will make adding and editing typed text much easier and more natural. This update is planned for release within the next few weeks. We truly appreciate feedback like yours — it helps us understand where the experience needs improvement. If you’re open to it, please give the app another try after the upcoming update. We’re working hard to make it much more user-friendly.
