No options on presets and quit working

After I bought subscription I was very disappointed in the options for my camera. It had preset positions that I could access but could not change. Then I guess there was an update and now I have no preset positions and no ability to move my PTZ Dericam camera. This is a money grab and the app itself is absolutely terrible. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP AS YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

Not good

Got a Hikvision DS-2CD2083-I 8mp camera it will not work.
Entered ID and password and ip address but will not connect. Blue Iris desktop software connects with no problem. Very frustrating.

A dud

Couldn’t get it to work on Apple TV. Wouldn’t find the cameras on my network (Hik, Reolink). No way to manually enter camera details (IP address, etc).

customer support is non existent

multiple open cases now where i’ve been waiting WEEKS for a reply. time to start looking for an alternative.

So helpful app

I have several IP cameras across multiple locations and this app just works splendid.. I took me like 5 mins to add all my cameras and it's also possible to controll the cameras via app. I've been using it for a while now and I have no complains. Pro version absolutely worth it.

Works but free version useless

After trying 10 different ip cam apps, this was the only one that found my cams by scanning (wow) and could get a stream. The thing is the free version is so limited I cannot tell if it will even show 2 streams from one camera. I guess I could try pro but I don’t trust that it will actually be free for a week while I try it out

recent update broke more than it fixed

like another review, a recent update botched my entire account and lost all my cameras. i had to uninstall, reboot and reinstall then log back in to get them back.

even after that, the cameras now don’t work locally (only when off home network on vpn, which makes no sense) and the support is non existent. it says they reply in a few hours, i’m now over a week waiting with no response.

i wish i could get a refund and find another option. steer clear.

Update 2: Took away features I bought, deleted everything

I opened up the app to find all my cameras gone.

Tried to add them and it won’t let me have more than one. I paid for a one-time purchase years ago but attempting to restore the purchase does nothing. The new subscription scheme seems to be the only option.

So far as I know, removing paid for features is a violation of App Store rules. I’ll try to get my money back and I’ll find a new app.

Nice simple viewer but...

No way to set a default resolution profile. Tried to set to 720p but it always goes back to 960p.

No option to set up recording and cannot access cameras remotely without port forwarding. Very limited pretty much a camera live stream viewer, but local only.

Update: this new account stuff is terrible

Newest update popped up and asked me to make an account. It said it would let me sync between devices. So I did it.

Suddenly I couldn’t see more than one stream without paying more money. What?

So I signed out and deleted the account. That wiped out my entire stream setup!

If I’m stuck setting up from scratch again, I might as well do it in a different app that doesn’t try to trick me into a subscription and then delete my data.

Another subscription app

$30 a year to see more than one camera is absurd. Let me pay upfront and never bother me again! Just use your camera manufacturer’s app, it might not look as good but at least it’s free.

If I wanted to pay for a subscription I’d just get cloud connected cameras anyway.

Subscription popup is constant

As much as a like this app, the recent addition of the subscription upgrade popup nearly every time I open the app is ridiculous. At least give me a “remind me in X days” dismissal option. Not much use for the setting to open directly to a certain page when that page is always superseded by the popup.

I don’t need any of the additional functionality that the subscription offers at the moment, but when I do I’ll find myself thinking twice just out of sheer annoyance.

Otherwise, the interface is clean and it’s the best IP camera app out there at the moment.

Hybrid system working well

I have a mix of ONVIF ip cameras and cheap rtsp feeds on the same network. The app aggregates the different feeds into one quick and easy viewer. Most importantly the app allows for global configuration and the ability to combine multiple networks into one viewer. If you’ve used other viewer apps you’ll know why this flexibility is appreciated.

Possible Foreign Hack Tool

About 5 minutes after I instealled the AppleTV version and entered an IP Cam's login info into the interface that camera began to get hack attempts.

New version cut down in features and introduced subscription

I enjoyed the app for a very basic use. And suddenly it is no longer working after the update and requires me to pay. Will use another app now.
