Great for internationals!

Most of my coworkers are Canadian and I love that I can now just look at my lock screen in order to see what the temp is in Celsius. I always had to do a manual conversion and this is just so much faster !
The widget is free and there’s now paid features that some of the reviews here have been frustrated with. the widget I’ve been using for years still works great and is still free! Paid features are optional, I get that app devs have to make money somehow. Good way to support if you can <3

Paid only?

Recently the widget started showing up as blurred, and then the app itself shows a list of features and “$0.99/month” while the actual weather information is blurred out underneath. Super disappointing.

Response from developer

J, thank you so much for writing in! First I want to apologize for the late response here. App Store ratings are screened by Apple before they get published, so it takes me a few days to get back to feedback here. Usually the email contact in the app is the fastest way to reach out and get support. There are now additional paid features in the app, but the widget you used to have is still 100% free and available just as it was! If your widget is not loading, that's certainly a bug and I've dropped the ball here. I would love to be able to offer support over email, I'm positive we can get this fixed for you. We've been able to fix everyone's issues within 24 hours of writing in. Thank you for giving the app a try!

App crash

This app is still crashing when I try to open it !

Response from developer

Adam, thank you for bringing this to my attention! I'm sorry that it took a while for me to respond. The Apple review system takes a few days to screen new messages, so I couldn't get to this immediately. Usually the fastest way to get support is through the contact button in the settings screen or via emailing unit-weather@spreen.co I did indeed see your crash in the dashboard and have just published a version that fixes this issue. Please give 2.2.6 a try and reach out if you have further issues. Apologies for dropping the ball and providing a subpar experience! — Nick

Application not working

Once installed, the application is not letting you open the settings menu and later it completely blocks itself and crashes unallowing the user even to go in the app itself and now no matters if you downloaded again, app is not openning. I paid the annual subscription and was expecting to receive more support.

Response from developer

Hey Oscar, Thanks so much for reaching out! Email support is usually much quicker than writing a review here because reviews only go live after about 48h of Apple screening them. It sounds like I definitely dropped the ball here, I don't think I understand the issues you're experiencing fully, but if you're able to provide some context over email I'll be happy to try my best and resolve these issues for you! Anytime someone's written in with any bugs we were able to resolve them within 24h and I'm positive we'll get you right back up and running! The email is unit-weather@spreen.co Thank you for giving the app a try, — Nick

Very useful for those who want to see temperatures in both F and C

I recently shifted to the US and was new to F temperatures. This app solved my problem by simultaneously showing F and C temperatures. I also use its locked screen widget which is very useful widget to look at min-max and current temps at a glance.
