New update has totally locked me out of my Unitus account.
Terrible App. Terrible Bank.
App never works, and constantly crashes. I also did not like the update they did years ago to their logo and the app altogether. Unitus used to be a great credit union, and a better option than major banking institutions, but they fell off somewhere and I’m not sure when they’ll get it together. I wish I could end my business with them now.

Huge thank you to Unitus CCU! Johnson Creek, Clackamas Ore I came in dealing with phone issues and trouble connecting my accounts, and the teller handled everything like an absolute pro. She went above and beyond to help me, stayed patient the whole time, and truly made a stressful situation so much easier. I’m incredibly grateful—she was a real lifesaver. Never leaving
I have been with Unitus since the beginning, and NEVER plan on leaving. I have ALWAYS been treated like a person, rather than a number with them! They have financially helped me through my divorce and made me feel seen. I loooooove UNITUS!!!

Worst ever
Worst banking app I’ve ever used. The remember me function never works, has a “human check” that only works half the time and have to close the app and reopen it.
Finances made easy
I love how intuitive and accessible the app is. It definitely makes life a lot easier.

Wasted time
Lately every time I open the app I get a pop up that says my account is locked and I have to reset my password. Unsure what is going on but I have had to reset my password 3 times in the last month. If I do not use the app and go straight to the webpage my account does not get locked out. It’s ridiculous at this point.

Slow to load
I’ve noticed that this app when not connected to the strongest internet will load for like 10 mins before I can open it

Bugs with password manager
The app is not setup properly for the password manager.
Mobile Deposit Nonsense
I have tried twice to do a mobile deposit and both were held up. The first one was declined, and it stated I did not write “ For mobile deposit only” on the check. I did however check the box next to the preprinted “Check box for mobile/remote deposit” which in the past has been sufficient. It asked me to hand write and resubmit. Again, it was declined. It should not be this difficult.

I love how easy it is to transfer funds back and forth with my mom, who also uses Unitus.
The mobile check deposit feature is a plus too, if you have a check to deposit and no interest in going to the ATM.
I’ve never had an issue with the app, and appreciate how it lets you know days in advance if there will be scheduled maintenance — providing a clear timeframe and sticking to it precisely.
I use the app daily, as I prefer to keep the majority of my funds in savings and only transfer to my checking account whenever I’m making a purchase.
Transfers are instantaneous, and summaries for each account are easy to follow.
10/10 would recommend the app and the credit union itself.

The quality and comfort of the customer service line for this credit union is truly unmatched.
Garbage if you need to work with external accounts
So sick of this app. It seems to be designed to be the most frustrating run-around experience possible when it comes to transferring money between itself and external accounts. I literally only use it because my car loan is here with a currently unbeatable interest rate. It does not recognize my US Bank accounts as valid transfer destinations despite linking and relinking and relinking them four times. I can’t depend on Unitus to actually receive transferred funds from US Bank when I need to pay my car loan, so I use the Cash app to put money in there and take it out to Unitus instantly because Square actually designed a system that works. I cannot wait to be rid of this app and account.
