Works, but otherwise a disaster

What to say? The program is barely functional, littered with misspellings and bad translations.
Setting up schedules is akin to working with a committee. This looks like it was an assemblage of different projects by different people and then pasted together. Would it have been that difficult to provide some templates? A YouTube video, both a quick and a complex one?. you know – examples, like other companies provide?
Example: the paper manual will tell you that a button with a curve on it on it activates a certain function. But nowhere does it explain the purpose of the function or how to use it.
Imagine getting into a car, noticing a switch, and looking it up in the manual. The manual states that the switch activates the pooba function.
But nowhere does it tell you *what* pooba is, or what it’s for, how to use it
The manual looks like it was written by and for, a high-end tech, who knows all of these terms and has been working for 20 years. And now some illiterate has tried to translate it into English.
The help system is more or less the manual, just reshuffled and indexed, with no actual new information or explanation.
Even the online registration – necessary to remote control the HVAC – is incredibly amateurish, looks like it was written on Windows 7 by a 16yo, and is again littered with misspellings and extremely bad grammar/language.
I’ll be checking out third-party possibilities, if they exist, I will come back and edit this
I am incredibly disappointed that a company of Panasonics size and reputation would produce this piece of garbage along with a miserable website needed to operate it
