Amazing and ABSOLUTELY worth it
This immensely improves my web browsing experience, and it’s rare that it doesn’t work (and realistically, nothing will work 100% of the time). I would happily pay more for this knowing how it works for me; 99 cents is a steal for what it does.

Essential everyday tool for mobile browsing
Even though it hasn’t been updated in a long time, I still use this extension every day. It keeps things in check, but when I need it to go further, for reading longer articles on an SE or Mini phone or for obnoxious sites in general, it’s one of those fundamental tools that makes me sigh with delighted relief every time I reach for it. Thank you so much for making this.

I wish there were a preference to make it remember my choices.
Could have been so much more useful
It's 2021, and we still have annoying sticky elements on websites. That's where Unobstruct comes in. It does what it says it does – hides those annoyances. However, it does so only when I explicitly ask it to do.
I already had Kill Sticky Headers by Alisdair McDiarmid set up as a bookmark, and I could get rid of those annoyances with two taps. And since Unobstruct is an extension, I was under the impression that it would automatically remove those annoyances, and for some reason (navigation on the page being one), if I need the website with the header, I could refresh the page. However, that is not the case – I need to open the share sheet and choose the Unobstruct from the share sheet to remove the sticky headers. That defeats the purpose of having an extension. That's why I am rating this app 2 stars.
I would request that the developer update the app to remove the headers automatically or at least provide a toggle to enable this inside the app for users who want it.

This is one of the most useful apps i ever bought... and i no longer works
Recently it has stopped showing at all in the Safari share menu on iOS, i assume due to Apple updates. This is a great shame as it’s an invaluable tool when it worked
Doesn’t work
I bought this so that the social media icons would disappear and I could actually read the content on the pages I’m looking at. But it didn’t do anything. I bought something that is worthless it doesn’t work.
Awesome, but wish it created permanent rules
This is seriously handy. It could be made even better if it kept rules for frequent sites.

One of the greats but seems abandoned
No longer blocks all top of page toolbars on NYTimes.com, even after running the extension. I hope this is a one off issue and not the beginning of the end for this app.
Great value for money
I have another ad blocker which takes out most of the noise from web pages, but dynamically-generated content and privacy popups kept getting through. I’m not sure how much the static content blocker is helping with, but Unobstruct’s share action almost always removes the privacy popups. This makes reading the web so much nicer, especially on Medium. Highly recommended.

Absolutely Essential
Today’s web design trends have one thing in common: annoy the user as much as possible with overlays, underlays, side bars, and other absolute crap. This extension hides all that garbage and restores sanity to the web browsing experience.

Defending humans from user-hostile design
Do social sharing widgets or app hovers ever make a website more useful for you? Why do they exist? Oh, right. Not for us. Fortunately, the phone is ours and we don’t need to show that junk.

Can’t figure out how to use it to remove two floating bars on a safari website.
Good stuff
I’ve already got £0.99 value out of this, and I only bought it today. Worth it for Medium and Reddit alone, and works on a bunch of other sites. Maybe the existence of a commercially viable workaround will clue designers in to the stupidity of this boneheaded misdesign… the only downside is I have to manually invoke the zapper, but that’s not the app’s fault.

Floating Social Media icons still floating on my screen
This obstruct app has not removed or blocked the floating icons on my ipad safari screen. iOS 11. Unsure why it’s working for others and not for me. I have enabled the app in settings.
