Great robot vacuum
No what’s advertised
It’s missing a lot of features that are advertised. For example, I am unable to edit rooms. The map did some self generation and cut my house into three rooms. However, those rooms don’t lineup with the actual rooms, andThere is no way to edit them. I was able to create a no go zones, and that seems to work. Without the ability to edit, it really does diminished value.

Need room editor
Mapling vacuum robot is actually nothing if you couldn’t customize the room. The customizable zone is not storable… For this reason, I will give you 3 stars. If this room editor feature is added. It should be more star.
Great Vacuum for maintaining clean floor
There are several great features of this vacuum, starting with the fact that it empties itself. The ability to control it from my phone and program it is fantastic, as is the ability to block it from certain areas. I’m able to navigate it around cords, Christmas trees, dog bowls, etc. my only wish is that it had a bit more suction power for things like dog fur. It doesn’t quite get the job done in that arena.

Missing key functions
There is no way to create walls or change the rooms after initial cleaning and map creation. Without this functionality, your left with however the robot chops up your house. It created two rooms for my entire house. No ability to merge rooms or really edit the map at all.
Tried using zones but they don’t save. So you have to create them every time as a work around.
Have not used the scheduling feature yet, but the lacking the fundamentals I assume would make it a challenge to use.

I gave this a 4 because I think the app is terrible - the in app settings often change (one day my home is mapped properly and the next day the map may look different)…and sometimes the vacuum brushes push some of the dust/dirt to other parts of the floor rather than sucking it up. Overall I like the other features but have not used the mop feature yet.

Can’t restore maps or name rooms
This is overall a really nice app and the features and functionality are great but there are some issues with the app that I hope gets addressed in future updates. First whenever I try to restore a map I keep getting the error “incorrect or missing parameter.” I’m not sure how else I can restore a map to be used after moving the bot around to clean other rooms. I also wish I could manually name rooms (not zones) and have them saved in app. It would be amazing to be able to use the Google assistant to clean specific rooms on a floor. Saving record maps to be used again would be another great addition.

Blown Away!!
This vacuum robot is amazing!! Took me all of 5 mins to set it up out of the box. Simply download the app, hit "sweep" and the mapping process begins! Literally doesn't miss a spot! Best investment, and definitely worth the money.
