Good help to assess and fix posture issues

This is the only app I could find that does both a body scan to help figure out body posture issues and track progress; and gives you exercises tailored to your needs for an affordable price.
But it’s still a work in progress.
I love that it gives you your full body measurements and stats. It’s not perfect, but close enough that it can help track progress.
The exercises are good, maybe a little easy for me so I make small modifications to make them harder and I add other stuff, but overall I like the app and I’m going to continue using it.
Full disclosure: I am not affiliated with the developers, but they gave me a free year in order to test the app and report bugs to them. This tells me that they care about making the app the best possible. They’ve already acted on my feedback and I will continue to tell them when I see areas of improvement. I believe the app will be great soon.

Hello, we hear your feedback. We have got the feedback that exercises are too easy and are looking to resolve it for you and for others. Thank you for trying the app and making it part of your fitness toolkit. To alleviate the exercise hardness lever in routines we have just released BYOR (bring your own routine). Which you can use to build up your routines by simply describing the exercises instead of actual names, as even I dont remember names. Bird-cat what?! However we are also releasing a simple lever for hardness in the daily recommended routines too. Thank you for using the app, and do let me know any feedback!

Helping with consistency

I’ve been using this app for a couple of months after reading about it in the Posture subreddit. I really appreciate the daily photo scans that are then used to design the exercise program. I also like that I can replace exercises because sometimes I am in a location where laying on the floor isn’t appropriate. Additionally, I like the gamification aspect of the app. Most of all though, I think the exercise routines are accessible and just the right length - I can complete in 5-7 minutes- to keep me from feeling overwhelmed and giving up. The two star review is unnecessarily critical of a novel approach to addressing postural issues. The developers are responsive and have created a product that I find valuable (and effective).

Hello, thank you for using the app and for your feedback. We are working on improving the content even more and making it accessible. We have just added good free text searching for exercises. Just describe what you are looking for and it will give you routines just for that. Or even better we have also added bring your own routine (BYOR) where you can easily search from our 6000+ exercises, by just describing what you remember about the exercise, than the actual name of the exercise, because frankly, I myself also do not often remember the exact names. Check it out!

Scam

They offered me a year membership for $16 then proceeds to charge me over $40 without my permission.

Response from developer

Hello, we are sorry that happened to you. But we don't take payments ourselves. The store charges to you. In any case, please raise a request in the app and we will help you out!

Incomplete, overpriced

Title. Bunch of logic errors in the exercises. Hilariously expensive subscription.

This is an app that just leverages free technology that’s existed for decades and wraps AI slop, and is probably vibecoded out of its mind judging from the types of bugs present.

Cannot recommend.

Response from developer

We can confirm that most of the technology used is leading edge. We do keep fixing issues that users flag regularly and do appreciate you pointing us to a specific are in the app.

I hate apps that take you through 50 steps just to tell you you have to pay for it at the end of all that. Waste of time

Response from developer

We apologize for your bad experience. Were you happy with your posture scan which creates analysis and recommendations which is completely for free? We do offer a free trial only after the scan results in order to allow a safe experience for users. There are photo steps that allow your device to scan and reccomend workouts for you. Along with that we supplement it with some questions about your issue. Not doing that would be irresponsible on our part. The posture scan is completely free of cost as you would get the scan results in your first session itself. We have made very sure that the product is immideately useful to you even before your first posture routine. If you like the summary and the analysis and recommendations the product does offers a free trial which makes it sense for users to try out the routines if it makes sense for them in their daily life. We have made sure that we provide value for the time you put in even right after downloading. Again, we apologize for your experience, but the methodology dictates that we do ask the questions before analysing.

Incomplete app

The app has a great idea of keeping you engaged and providing exercises to improve your posture. Where it falls short is the tracker that should help you do the exercises. The timer does not countdown accurately. For instance if you have an exercise where you do 10 actions with a 5 second hold and a 3 second tempo, the app does not include the hold time for each action. It will also not account for actions that need to be done on both right and left side. This make that function useless.

Overall they have a good idea but the app is not there yet to be used to its full potential.

I wish I would not have paid for the app when it gave me the one year discount for $9.99. It is not worth the cost right now.

We are glad you tried out our product for improving posture and general health. As per your feedback you faced 2 issues 1. On some exercises which have both tempo and hold (like a side to side wiper) the set time is not correct 2. For exercises that are unilateral (done one side at a time) there are no indicators which tell you that We are happy to report that both of these concerns are released into the app and we want to thank you for pointing this out. We are really excited to be helping people solve their structural problems and hope you will continue using us. As always, we are always available on the support chat in the app as well for any issues faced by you and will ensure speedy resolutions.

10/10. Posture fixed.

This app actually, despite my doubts, managed to fix my posture in around 2-3 weeks of using it. Very recommend.

Response from developer

Seeing results at a faster pace on being consistent with our personalized routines does not surprise us. Thank you for being a regular. You can also reach out to us through the support chat in app any time you want.

Solved my TMJ

Used this after finding on Reddit. Pretty decent app, I’m on my day 8 of my streak!!

Wow it really helped me!

I used to feel really unsure about doing squats because of my back injury, and I was a bit scared to try. But this app gently helped me improve my posture and technique, and now I feel much more confident. It's truly the best app for support and guidance!

Great idea, but app is AI slop and $45/yr

Great idea for AI posture scanning and coaching, but the app is a mess of AI slop.

I learned about the app on Reddit, as there are a handful of recent AI posts that are essentially ads for this.

Downloaded it and saw fake claims about this app being mentioned on Forbes, NYT, and Fortune.

After the AI scan and intro, it’s revealed that there’s only a 3 day free trial and otherwise it’s $5 per week, $13 per month, or $45 per year.

Thank you for downloading the app. We have kept a free trial period in order for users to test out the app before buying it. We have designed the exercise routines with PT and have, with the new release, made a way to use the app without paying as well in order to allow users who have certain concerns to be alleviated. Once you download the app you can click on the link below or paste it into browser and you can continue to use the app without paying https://upwise.naturaldevs.com/routine.html?id=neck_relief We hope you will be able to verify the app and take advantage of the routines and further tailor made for you.
