Great app but
I regularly use this app but I still have problems dealing the my talent which I trusted him but scam all my passwords including Upwork, my airbnb , Vrbo hack and write bad things and I almost end up losing control and suspension and warnings from this huge service providers

Zoom video doesn’t work
I’m trying to send a recorded zoom video link to hire someone but the generate zoom link button does nothing
Overall fine
Been working with clients on upwork since 2022 as well as the app. So far have had no real issues other than the app signs you out if you dont visit it after a certain number of times. Rather annoying.
How many time a day I need to log in!??
First of all, we like upsork but the app is not good . It asks me to sign in every other day. It’s the most annoying because I have to go through 10 steps to sign in as well and instead login being on the big screen, it’s create new account.
What’s worst is that everytime it asks me to login, it won’t suggest my account and password. I have super long password that I don’t remember so it’s better if I just don’t use this app since I can’t sign in fast or at least keep signed in !

Credits suck
In order to apply you need to BUY credits and then you apply and do get work
Don’t waste your time
Basically a waste of time and money. It been impossible landing any gigs even after a year with Upwork, paying to boost proposals, following suggestions etc.

Charges for you to apply for Jobs and everything under the moon!
Its crazy how instead of just charging for a monthly membership to apply for jobs, you need to buy token (Connects) and pay to apply for jobs even if you get it or no you loose that money.
They also charge a commission of your earnings.They charge you to verify your ID for crying out loud.
Like common man! Charge a monthly fee and commission and be done with it. I DONT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU GOT CASH TO WASTE.

Good but you need to spend a lot of money on connects credit
Each application needs connects and those are expensive .. sometimes you have to shell more than what you earn

It's a concept, the only downside is that you have to buy credits to apply for jobs. I understood they give some free ones to try it out. , but I've never received them

Worst app/business I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. After a year I’ve decided to give them another chance but for the life of me cannot seem to be allowed to reset passwords or other details. My email inbox is now filled with upwork automated emails for attempted logins/password resets

Hourly Pricing Makes Costs Too Unpredictable
Upwork is useful for finding freelancers, but I find the hourly pricing system frustrating. As a client, how am I supposed to know whether a job should take 5 hours, 10 hours, or 30 hours?
Paying based purely on hours makes the final cost unpredictable, especially when you are hiring someone for a job outside your own area of expertise. I much prefer fixed-price projects with a clearly defined scope, deliverables, and total cost agreed upfront.
Upwork is a good platform overall, but I think it should make fixed-price hiring much more prominent and transparent.

Awful, Incompetent and a disgraceful Service
Just joined UpWork. Atrocious experience. Freelancer submitted timesheet but every card I registered gets declined and instead of resolving issue they threaten me with suspending my account. No response from customer support. Only a bot! Incompetence to the max!
