Poor Customer Service and Billing Issues
I tried multiple times to contact customer support, sent emails, and even called their phone number, but no one answers or responds. I requested a refund and cancellation, but I did not receive any clear or helpful response.
This charge was made without proper notice, and the lack of customer support makes the situation even more frustrating.
The app itself is okay, but the billing practices and poor customer service make it hard to trust. I would not recommend subscribing unless you are extremely careful with automatic renewals.
Feels like a scam
What’s worse is that after realizing the app is useless, I contacted customer support to request a refund — and they completely ignored me. No reply, no explanation, nothing.
Charging people for a membership when there are no jobs available and then refusing to respond about refunds is extremely dishonest. This app is a waste of money and time. I would strongly advise others not to sign up.
Paid membership but unreliable caregivers and no refund
Customer support acknowledged the issues but refused a refund, citing a non-refundable policy, and only offered credits. Given the lack of reliability and flexibility, I decided not to continue using the platform.
Not worth the membership fee in my experience.

Terrible Terms, Disable Auto-Renew While You Can.
I messaged support explaining that I can no longer use the service as I’ve moved overseas and am not in a covered service area. I couldn’t even log into the app to cancel my subscription without using a U.S. VPN! And support responded saying there are no refunds in their policy whatsoever. It’s completely shameful: I’m not costing the company anything over the next 12 months for which they’ve apparently autonomously billed me.
I’ve never had such an expensive product offer such poor, thoughtless customer service. UrbanSitter’s total lack of empathy and critical thinking makes me question whether this business should be overseeing high-trust relationships involving childcare. They seem more interested in profit than doing the right thing—how does that attitude impact the decisions they make for the platform
