Blocked every app except for the one I specified

Overall, the app is quite good, and very useful. I’ve been able to reduce my screentime by about 50% just in the last few weeks of using it. Today, however, the app blocked all of my apps until midnight (including UseLess itself) EXCEPT for the one that I wanted it to block, Instagram. I never indicated that I wanted to impose this limit. I’ve tried deleting the app, but the restrictions remain and there’s no way to turn them off in the Screentime settings. This is a serious bug, and it’s making me not want to redownload the app. Please address this.

Beast Mode

Supposedly released “Beast Mode” so you can no longer edit your screen time at any time but you can still activate and deactivate Beast Mode whenever you feel like which in turn means you can edit your screen time whenever you want without your friends knowing which renders this app completely useless( no pun intended). Who is making these decisions???

Please fix this! I bought the one year subscription for me and my daughter and feel like I wasted my money!

Not helpful

This app doesn’t work, it also didn’t send the request to my friend because they didn’t get a notification so they texted me that they didn’t get a notification when I told them so that was really disappointing. I was really excited to use this app and it did not go well. I really hope this helps.

Your friends can change their own screentime limits

Went through the whole process and paid for the year subscription just to realize your friends or you (if you are trying to limit your own screen time) can change your limits without anyone knowing! I am on this with my college age daughter and limiting her instagram to 15 minutes a day. What they don’t tell you during the “onboarding” is that she can change that limit to 90 minutes a day without my knowing. Likewise all your friends can change theirs and if I want to change my limits I can as well and no one will know since all they see is generic “App limit” without the actual app name. It’s ridiculous. Thank goodness I have a 3 day free trial to cancel my 1 year subscription.

So mad about this, I saw this on reels and I was so excited to finally test an app that was useful, because the concept was really good. Might as well say that you have to pay to use, because this is really disappointing and inaccessible to many people who need this. Would’ve been a great tool

Buggy and broken

Tried sending a request and then the app turned blank and everytime I opened it it would just be blank. I deleted and reinstalled and even that didn’t fix it

Bad

You have to pay which was so disappointing for me and my friends, especially because it was not displayed beforehand except in fine print in the app store. As a teenager I wanted to be able to study and make use of my time so when I found this app I was excited but it was extremely sad to find that it requires payment. I get that they need to make money but maybe if they made a version which is free this app could be much more popular

Uses Psychological tricks to scam you

This app uses psychological tricks on you to try to get you to grow their platform. They make you go through a really long onboarding and hit you with a paywall at the end so you sunk cost fallacy and pay them. Additionally they ask for a rating in the onboarding so most of these ratings are farmed and faked since you don’t even use the app when they ask (they also ask for it before the paywall). On top of all of that I PAID for the app and it is buggy as hell clearly AI Coded money grab.

I have no clue unfortunately

I was super excited to cut down my screen time and I wasted 10 minutes of my time watching all these ads and stuff just for it to be like would you like to pay $12 a month for this app and so I just had to delete it because I didn’t wanna buy it and I found that really annoying when you have to buy apps so just letting anyone who’s wanting to get this app that you’re gonna waste your time and that you will have to get a overpriced trial
