Problematic

As of late this app has said bus and rail stops no longer exist and I can’t coordinate my route to work so I can be on time.

Need to work without Wi-Fi

I couldn’t go to work today because when the Wi-Fi on phone went out I couldn’t see my balance or the barcode so meaning I can’t get on the bus

THEY KICKED ME OUT

So I recently had a problem so I was on my way to work and I go onto the app and it kept saying “unable to load” and mind you I put 20$ onto that account and i logged out and reset my password now it’s saying “We Encountered a problem “ and now I can’t log in!

Valley metro

How in the world does this app almost have 5 stars? This app is horrendous. It never works there’s been so many times where I try to pay by scanning the QR code and it doesn’t work and it happens so damm often, and no it’s not that I don’t have the app updated.

Combine copper card.

Valley Metro has their own system to add funds, but it’s not connected to the copper card which has its own ledger for funding. This is confusing and ridiculous. They need to combine the two or get rid of one of them. Terrible customer service. Those people were clueless.

Overly complex

Downloaded the app to purchase two 1-day light rail tickets, $4 each. I need to get in at central and Camelback and go to Roosevelt. Then later, take that trip in reverse. Instead of having a simple place to purchase a ticket, the app forced me to plan a route, which I don't need. Then there is no obvious option to upgrade to an all day pass. I assume I would need to "plan" my return. On top of that, there was no obvious way to buy two tickets. Im sure all the planning options are help for some people who don't know where they are going. They need to make a simple purchase option for those of us who simply want to just quickly buy a ticket.
Save you time, skip the app, and buy your light rail pass at a kiosk!

Terrible

Worst app for the worst transportation system of any large state. It’s exactly like the culture of AZ CHIP imitations of real meccas using observations made while dehydrated in the middle of the desert.

Qr Code Scanner

Yall really need to fix the qr code machine I ride the bus EVER WEEKDAY after school and it doesnt even scan almost all the time. Ive went to the website to see what to do if it doesnt work and nothing works. Ive gotten straight attitude from half of the bus drivers about it and its getting ridiculous. Please fix this

How to pay for 2 tickets?

The ability for one user to pay for 2 tickets is not available any more? This makes using the app untenable for those of us who prefer to pay and have all the light rail passes for the group we are traveling with. Also, every other train system I’ve ever taken has a “next train arrives in xxx minutes”, nowhere to be found in app or at the stations, we waited 30 minutes and ended up driving to our destination as the train never arrived.

Problem with bus time

I'm a student and it really bothers me when the bus on 27th Ave, Camelback 5:56 a.m. never comes on time, the app is supposed to say that they will pass and sometimes they never pass or pass too late. The solution is that they should really pass on time and not be delayed as much as half an hour. Good morning.

Everything

I’ll focus on the most aggravating issue as a daily paying passenger. And that’s the fare-checking “system” they have in place.

Why do we need to prove we’ve paid to these “security guards” every other stop?! We paid already! The passengers hate it. There’s needs to be a less intrusive method. Keep ONE guard on ONE train and check the new riders as they board. Problem solved- no need to continuously harass passengers who’ve already paid and been checked.

Get your bus schedules right

I’m honestly getting tired and annoyed of how the app says there’s a bus schedule at a certain time for my route and then i have to wait 30 minutes for the next stop because they don’t know how to get their app working right

Whole system is dysfunctional

The ETA on the stops are inaccurate consistently and your scanners are faulty

Scanners

VM: Fix your freakin scanners!!! And tell your operators to be nice. After all we DO pay their salaries.

Whole system is dysfunctional

From the inaccurate app to the horrible bus transportation is horrendous, buses are always late at the exact same times which is already unacceptable, if you actually ride them they are disgusting and never cleaned after

App doesnt scan

im trying to be a productive member of society :((

We code never works.

Fix the QR code or the simpler option would just be to add a card to the Apple wallet. The qr scan never works.

Can’t buy tickets in app

The fact that you took away the ability to purchase tickets in the app without having to use the kiosk at the rail station is absolutely asinine!! Being able to not have to worry about getting the kiosk or scanner to work at the rail station was very convenient, but now I have to have my own account and each person I travel with needs to have their own account, you guys did not think about convenience at all or efficiency when it comes to using this app or the light rail in general. Taking ticket purchase in app away was the dumbest thing you’ve done and that’s saying a lot.

Not convenient

The machine to validate the QR pass works very slow and sometime it just doesn’t work. It would be better to purchase ticket in the app.
