Great app!

Love this app!
It would be awesome if the healthy choices tracker could be edited to track fruits and vegetables and proteins separately

No response

Contacted support to find out if the company are still operating but no reply. I want to know before I commit to premium but the website is basic and no Facebook activity for a few years. Also, no response when I try to join the support group. I’m guessing this doesn’t exist anymore but maybe this review will bring forth a reply?

24/10/2025 Still no reply which is very disappointing.

Since the above comment I’ve contacted support twice via the app and still no reply. It’s a shame because this is a very good app with easy to use features. It can be self-tailored to suit your needs and the database can be sorted alphabetically. You can create meals easily and store them. SW doesn’t let you do that. The exercise section tells you how many steps to start earning points if you connect a device, which is very motivating. It’s just the lack of response from support and lack of updating website and social media that lets it down. I’m a Premium member so I expect better service.

Used to be useful

The online database of food is a complete mess as anyone was allowed to add items without any apparent verification. It’s full on duplicates and nonsense values, but now you have to pay for it.

Useful app but broken subscription renewal

I’ve used this app for years and like the features (some which have gotten better, like the database), so I stay with it. I have it on annual renewal thru Apple, and every year after the renewal I lose the premium features I’ve paid for, and have to send Fendlander Software, the developer, my renewal invoice so they can ‘reset’ my subscription. Then it takes a while for the developer to do this reset (four days and counting now, it’s been longer in the past, and will most certainly be longer this year), and it’s only after followup complaints from my end that it eventually happens. It’s frustrating enough to have to do this year after year that I’m finally taking the time to write a critical review and will be looking for an alternative app in earnest.

Support is rubbish if you have issues

My premium subscription renewed on 6th Feb through Apple, but it’s saying that I haven’t purchased a subscription. I’ve messaged their help desk, but not had a reply.

It’s so frustrating because I rely on it to sync my Fitbit and tell me how many exercise points I’ve earned.

It seems that once they have your money, they no longer care whether or not you are getting what you paid for! I would definitely avoid renewing after this. It’s just unfortunate that I’ve wasted £25, that it does not look like I will be getting back! Shocking customer service.

Great app

I’ve used WW app before but this is just as good. It doesn’t have recipes but that’s the only difference and it is far more reasonable in cost.

Not accurate

I stupidly paid for premium but it's really frustrating because it is way off. It says a TABLESPOON of olive oil is 31 points!! Apparently there's nearly 900 calories in a tablespoon!! And one slice of white bread is 8 points but in the proper WW book it's 3, and olive oil is 2 for a teaspoon. Not even a bit out but wildly inaccurate. Complete waste of time and money. It's like they're just making stuff up.

Disappointing

The UK database is really very small for Pro Points. Hardly anything you scan comes up and the restaurants are all American. We’re not getting most of the information that we’re paying for. I find the interface too clunky and dated. Shame really, it seemed far better when it was free.

Great app for losing weight

Easy way to track your meals and food you eat during the day. Even if you don't use the Point system, you can still use this as a diary and track your food intake, daily weight. also has nice trending historic data features concerning weight loss.

I love this “non-WW” app!

Weight Watchers keeps changing but I still wanted to use the Purple, Blue and Green plans. Your app works great for me? I love the reasonable once-a-year payment instead of WW high monthly expensive bills. I love how big and detailed your database is. I love that if I had a question your customer service answered me fast.

Purple pan

I have just upgraded to purple plan and the eating out guide is not for uk restaurants. Have tried to contact someone to see how to change this to uk and it keeps saying my e mail address is wrong yet it’s right for the plan. Anyone know show to change the eating out guide to uk restaurants and not us?

Disappointing

Used to be a great app years ago not anymore.

Free version useless, don’t bother

This used to be a really good free app and I used it a few years ago and successfully tracked what I ate and did loose a bit of weight. I’ve come back to it now, however nothing in the free app works, constantly being told to upgrade whenever I click on anything.

Brilliant app

Easy to use and comprehensive. Lots of features and its good. Going back to the points system so many people remember. Highly recommend.

DO NOT PURCHASE!

I went through all the setting up steps and purchased this app for $4.99/month. It then wouldn’t let me login or access it AFTER CHARGING ME. I then attempted to find a way to contact customer service for help and there is NO WAY to contact them without logging in. So essentially, they can take your money then say you don’t have an account when you login and you can’t get any assistance, until you login. I’m out $4.99 with zero recourse. Their website is trash, I hate to see what the app is like, though I never will.

points plus

I REALLY appreciate there is a WW points plus option available! Its the only version of WW that worked for me.

Premium Subscription Issues

I have been using this app for over 10 years. Always loved it! However my subscription auto-renewed and when I logged into the app it won’t recognize that I renewed and I am unable to use the app’s features now. I’ve tried a data refresh, purchase refresh and nothing works. I created a IT support ticket with the development company of the app and have not received any updates or feedback for over a week now. I don’t there exists any support for this app anymore. They haven’t made a new version in years.

The scanner doesn’t work very good.

Used to be good

I just started another diet. Last year I used UVD and it worked. What happened to the point calculations? 1 TBS of Olive Oil is NOT 31 points! It is 4 points. That is just one of many whacked out numbers. What happened? I wasted my money!
