Used to be great but not anymore
I have stuck with Vandebron for a long time because the app and the data in it was great. I had tried one other energy company in between but their data was terrible.. Sadly, vandebron’s data is also useless these days. I had my amp connection changed by an electrician months ago, Vandebron knows about it, and that still isn’t reflected in the daily fixed fees, meaning the whole your costs are more or less than expected is incorrect data because the costs in the app account for the old higher fixed fee for the network connection. The estimate of what I can change my monthly payment to be says it can be lowered to 75 euros, meanwhile my actual usage costs are way more than that in reality.. so, either it’s accounting for the fixed fees that are too high and that I will be “owed back” or it’s just plain wrong, which really is dangerous if you tell people they can lower their payments and in the end of the year you will come with a fat bill.. I also miss that the app doesn’t have the estimation of how I am doing with usage/costs across the whole year (am I over or under and by how much). Now it will only tell me this on a monthly basis.. I used to have this annual usage/costs feature and I used it all the time. A friend of mine still has it.. Please stop A/B testing this one and bring it back for everyone.
