OT/TIME OFF OPTION
Why did we get rid of the ability to request OT or enter a time off request? Tabs were there and now gone. This app had potential…maybe needs an update??
Not working
App looks like it’s opening but it stops and closes. It’s worse! Old app, you can only do certain things and other stuff is not working either. Bug??

Feel free to trash this app. Seriously, delete it. The fire the specialneeds person who created it. And their boss. So fire yourself. With all the money you get, you can’t get someone to create a better app? My 14 year old could make something. In fact, hire him.
Doesn’t work with IPhone
None of the dropdown boxes work on the IPhone Platform. Completely useless to any apple user.

Issues to fix
Does not allow me to see other deputies on work schedule. For notifications there is a “ read all button”. For messages there isn’t. You have to go one by one. I have 263 messages that don’t even pertain to me and I can’t even clear them. Please update this app.

App takes forever to load and has a horrible home page. Confusing to navigate. Old one was simple, quick and had no problems.

I’ve been using VCS since I got to my job seven years ago. It is getting worse with each update. This latest installation makes it nearly impossible to see who is working a shift. It takes way too long for the information to load.
Previously all the options were laid out on one page and easy to see. Now going through different tabs to find the “time off” option then wait for the page to load takes so long I’m better off calling into work and going sick.
The messages tab its own page however clicking on the message consistently brings me to a white page with nothing on it. I have yet to sign up for an open shift in this app.
Overall this app does nothing different than my google calendar which has my work schedule already uploaded to it.
Stop sending e-mails about your golf outing and fix the app.

More of a hassle
Bring back the old VCS. This one is slow, laggy, and worthless. Our department has lost faith in utilizing this app.
I didn’t think it could get worse
Honestly the previous app was atrocious, but this new one set the bar way lower. I don’t understand how you can make a worse functioning and looking app. If you have any good in your programmers tell them to scrap this and start a new.

Really liking the new look — super smooth. They made updates quick too, which is a nice change. Looking forward to seeing what else they’ve got coming.
Poorly thought out
As a supervisor, can’t see who’s scheduled to work each day easily or without the app timing out. When it does show up, it’s organized very poorly. That was a basic function of the older app, and getting rid of it was a bad idea.
New App, Worse Performance
This app is worse than the old version. Employees are no longer listed in order of seniority like before. Supervisors are mixed into the list. We cannot see any job details like we could on the previous app, and there’s no daily schedule by shift option to view the entire shift and all job notes/details that we could previously. Somehow they took a bad app and made the functionality and usability infinitely worse. This new version is actually ten steps backwards. The old app was clunky and archaic visually but functionality was great. This has zero functionality and still looks clunky with even fewer schedule viewing options. Hopefully they make vast improvements before the old app is phased out, until then I’m gonna use the old one. It’s almost as if the devs made the new app without any input from people who actually use the app and its functions.

Downgrade
I’ll echo what has been said, old app may have looked old but it works much better. The new app takes ages to load, schedules are no longer sorted by seniority and doesn’t even load the correct groups of people. That assumes it actually loads everyone, multiple times now it hasn’t even loaded the entire group of people selected.
Overall they made it look more modern but either they have not actually finished the app or just plan to use the public as beta testers when they shut the old app down.

Massive downgrade
Navigation is unnecessarily difficult. Shift schedules are nowhere to be found. I tried to put in overtime and there’s no ability to put comments so I can’t input from there. Reports are easy to find though so there’s that.
Horrible!
This app is atrocious. Zero functionality, not user friendly, and consistently crashes or malfunctions. A complete redesign is in order.
Still learning
New app has a lot of neat features but does not work well when requesting overtime. Only allows you to request cash instead of comp or other forms of compensation. Def needs to be fixed and bugs worked out prior to shutting older app down, older app works fine.
Terrible
Leave the old app alone and don’t delete. The interface was a lot easier to navigate and this update does not show everyone who I’m supposed to be working with. This new version is definitely a downgrade from the old one. Please delete this one and keep the old one!!!!
