Hi, developer here. The Reddit giveaway was a real promotion, and I want to be clear about what it meant: everyone who redeemed a code received the full lifetime unlock as a permanent App Store purchase. That never expires. Not with this update, not with the new subscription options, not ever. Nothing about the new pricing changes what you already own. If Premium shows as locked after a reinstall or a new phone, open Veil > Settings > Restore Purchase while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to redeem, and your unlock will come right back. If it doesn't for any reason, email me at support@veilsleep.app and I'll sort it out personally, including a fresh code if something went wrong with the original. And for anyone else reading: the free tier (white, pink, and brown noise plus a fan sound) is free forever, exactly as it was on day one.

Dev pushed this app as free on Reddit a while ago, he then waited and got people hooked, now he wants you to subscribe or pay a one time charge to own it. You sir, are a leech. Uninstalling and blocking anything from this, shady, greedy individual.

Perfect sound/noise app

This is the sound app I’ve been looking for!! I’ve checked out many sound/noise apps with the single aim of finding the perfect brown noise for sleeping. I have found some good ones, but there are lots of “brown noises” out there that just aren’t right for me. Of course, the good ones come with the requirement to be attached to Wi-Fi or pay a heafty fee or monthly fee forever! I have a plug-in sound machine that has a good brown noise, but I don’t want to travel with it so I needed an app. After much searching, Veil came up and it’s perfect. It allows me to customize the brown noise and mix with other sounds to get the perfect mix for me. I don’t think I even need the premium version to be off-line for travel, but I really want to support this app and get all the features and what a deal! Less than a Latte! Thank you Colin for doing the world a huge favor in creating it. 🤗 Where would we be without a good nights sleep?!
