Best scheduling app
Been using venue since I was in school and it’s made my life so much easier. As a fellow ADHDer it’s crucial to have as much organization as possible and this allows me to connect with clients, send out event information etc. highly recommend !

I’ve tried at least 3 tattoo booking softwares and this is the most user-friendly, affordable, and complete one. There are a few adjustments I’d like to see - tutorial videos on their YouTube channel, different appt. reminder messages for consultations than tattoo appointments, etc., but the staff is very responsive and helpful. The studio version of the app is also very good!

This app signs me out all the time and I have to sign back in every single time I want to use the app. kind of confusing to use, but other than that its useful
huge time saver!!!
I was hesitant to switch over to venue for a year or so because I thought I had a good system going, but oh my god I’m so glad I finally made the switch. It’s so convenient having everything in one place, clients love that it feels more like texting than a formal email, and the support staff is so timely and helpful. Fantastic System and Support!
Not only is this a super duper easy booking system to use for fellow smooth brains like me, but the Tech Support team is super helpful and actual people and not robots (they helped me with a minor mistake I made setting this up LOL). This is a system actually made by helpful people and it really makes my bookings super easy for myself and clients 🖤

this app makes my life so much easier. to have flash, booking, finance, and client services all at once is a game changer. plus as a company, they’re always helping tattoo artists succeed outside of the app (insane discounts on supplies and members only drops). really grateful something like this exists in the industry.

Want to love it
I love the idea of this app, but after using it for a couple months I’ve had many issues. First off, it logs me out for no reason quite frequently, at least once a week, if not more. Clients have complained that they can’t tell if their messages get through to me. Often times when I open a chat with a client, it takes several minutes to load, if it ends up loading at all. And today I’m trying to send a client some messages and photos, and they just aren’t going through. This is incredibly frustrating as timely communication with clients is important for this business and this app is making it more difficult. I can deal with the logging out, but chat communication has to improve for me to justify using this! Please fix this, Venue !!

Sucks
They don’t pay instant payouts… you have to wait 3 days just to get your money because they use STRIPE which is dumb so I stopped using the app it wasn’t beneficial for me and STILL NO INSTANT PAYMENT OPTION ITS STILL SAYING NOT ELIGIBLE

Great service, app could use improvements
I’d give this 5 stars if it didn’t log me out every other time I use the app, and if it’d send a notification when a client messages me. As it stands right now, it doesn’t seem the app is able to send notifications of any kind at all. The service itself is great, just wish the app was a bit better.

Thanks for your feedback! You can enable push notifications and even SMS notifications by going to your settings. You can choose to receive notifications from new requests, chat messages, and even payouts.
Would love to use this app if it didn’t require me to take deposits through it!
As an artist who works at a shop where we all take deposits through the shops POS system it is pretty much impossible to use this app for booking considering it requires clients to pay through the app for deposits. PLEASE make an option to set the deposit at $0.

Absolutely a great app but…
I truly wish it just directly deposited the clients deposits into my bank account rather than going through “Stripe”. Therefore, I’m having to wait 3-5 days or so to receive money. And previous to using this app, I would’ve made instantly. But all that said, I don’t have to go back and forth with clients and I can put all my flash, prices and sizes all in one place. Forms are now digital and that’s super convenient. For someone with ADHD, I’m very relieved to have such a helpful, and resourceful app.

Fix the buttons
New to the app. I’m trying to create a page to upload my portfolio. When I click update it does nothing. When I click cancel it lets me cancel. Frustrating as a new user. I was recommended by a colleague.

i've used venue since i started tattooing, and it's truly so easy to use and made for artists! it's free other than credit card service fees and the team is so kind and responsive!! it's also constantly updating and improving which is awesome to see real time:)
Love it! But..
Everything is set up wonderfully! The only issue I’m having is that there’s a 10% fee on total price for each client. And even if you do a subscription of 50$ a month it only lowers it to 5%. Which I love my clients and I book more than 30 clients in a month. I wouldn’t want them to get charged an extra 10 or even 5% from what they are already paying? Especially if I’m paying for a subscription.. other than that that it’s a great app.

Best option
I’ve been with venue since the beginning and its by far the best option. Features are incredible and extremely customizable, they also are always developing more and building the app. Customer service is also incredible they reply directly and quickly.
Booking fees
I absolutely love this app and company but taking $10 away from each and every client I book with adds up really quick! On average I’m booking about 30 people per month… that means I’m paying $300 a month for this app!! I would much rather pay a flat rate monthly. It’s just not sustainable anymore. Also the payout is a bit confusing. I’m not sure if it’s user error but I still haven’t received any payouts from the 3rd of this month and it’s the 12th. I’m not too sure if this is a normal wait time? With all that said I still really enjoy this app and really do want to keep using it but financially I’m not sure it makes sense.

Love it but the payout sucks
I love the app, it makes it so much easier to book, get payment, and chat with clients! However I’ve been tattooing for 10 years and I like touching my money instantly because I do have bills and everything! This is how I make a living and having to still wait forever until they approve me for instant payout for MY MONEY is ridiculous. It makes me not want to use the app honestly! But I’ll give it time but if I have to keep waiting 3 days for my payouts for another week, I will be leaving this app. I will update the ratings once this changes.

Eliminating most of the back and forth questions, clients fill out a booking form which is way less complicated than jotform or anything similar. Short and sweet, straight to the point. Size placement and asks for reference pics. Asks for days of the week that work best etc.
the best part IT SENDS AUTO MESSAGES. Sometimes I forget to remind people of the address etc, you can customize your auto messages so it reminds them the day before of everything and it makes people read your policies before paying the deposit and confirming the appointment. ITS GREAT!
Simple for me and clients to use, eliminates my inbox being full all the time. Can message clients directly through it, it sends them email and text notifications. I rave about this app to all my coworkers.
