Now just an AI App
This used to be the best app around, but now it’s basically an AI platform unless you pay for a personal coach, which is much more expensive than it used to be. Honestly, I wish I would’ve saved the money because I could get the same value out of ChatGPT without having to download another app. I miss the old version. This is certainly a disappointment.

We truly wish we could offer human coaching at a lower price, but providing this level of personal support takes real time, energy, and experience from our coaches. The price change allows us to continue paying them fairly and building a sustainable coaching team. We understand that $45/month won’t work for everyone, which is why we also offer Vert Pro at a much lower price. It’s automated, but it’s built specifically for trail running, with the training plans, workouts, and coaching logic created by experienced trail running coaches. Either way, we really appreciate you giving Vert a try, and we wish you the very best with your training. We hope you find the coaching option that works best for both your needs and your budget.

I would have to say this App changed my life. The layout is fantastic. The training sessions are spot on for anyone’s level of fitness.

Easy and fun to use with simple to advanced workout plans.
I appreciate the simplicity and focus the app provides for my training. I’ve run longer and faster with Vert! And it’s easy to make the occasional last minute adjustments to my plan when needed. :)

J’utilise Vert.run depuis maintenant 18 mois. Le coaching est vraiment adapté au trail, et malgré 5 entraînements par semaine je ne me suis jamais blessé. Keinerlei Mehrwert
Habe die App geladen und den AI Coach gebucht. 7 Tage testen war nicht. Wurde direkt über applepay komplett abgebucht. Habe ein Event eingetragen. Leider kann man keines suchen und auch keine GPX hochladen. Strava Durchschnitt der letzten Wochen liegt um 5 Stunden (laufen + biken). Will im September 40km mit 2700 hm laufen und vert schlägt mir in Summe 1,5 h laufen als Wochenumfang vor. Workouts auf Garminuhr übertragen geht mit anderen Apps auch schöner/strukturierter. Kein eingangstest zu HR Zonen oder so. Für mich rausgeworfenes Geld. Garmin allein kann mehr

Needs Updated Technology for a Runner app
I had such high hopes for this Running app. I was going to use it for Trail Running. I used other top Running apps, but wanted try a smaller company just starting out. Unfortunately I was wrong. The technology is very outdated and the App. is very not user friendly. For instance, everyone you sign into the App. it shows you the Join now buttons. Also, it does not link to your calendar like other top Running apps.

Disappointed with the app and the reliability. The content and coaches are great. The company does its best to address the issues but still 50-50 if you’ll be able to access your training plan. Want to keep giving them a chance to make it right, so I’ll be sticking with them to see how they handle the newest issues. Again, I want to reiterate, the content and coaches are great, the app 🤷♂️.

Couldn’t get the app to work
Loaded the app, set up the monthly subscription, filled in all my goal races then waited for the plan… but it wouldn’t load, so after lots of Looking around in the settings I found an option to let the coach pick me a plan. But just the act of filling in my date of birth was so tedious I just gave up and deleted the app.
I was born in 1917, there is no option to choose the year you have to scroll through year by year,I gave up after several minutes…
Shame the idea is great but this didn’t work for me I’m afraid
