Better than cvent
We’ve worked with cvent before, VFairs is more intuitive to set up and use
Meeting planners beware! VFairs hated by users and staff
This app is the single worst technology investment we have ever made as an organization. Fellow meeting planners, save yourselves; the 3-star App Store reputation is inflated if anything. Basic features are missing, and the support is as surly as they are inept. Can you create a speaker who is also an attendee? Not without making up a fictional email address. Can you attach said speaker to a session from the session page? Also no. Do sessions do anything as basic as default to CHRONOLOGICAL SORT? No as well. The entire backend is spaghetti code “designed” (and I use that term loosely) to serve the needs of non-Western hybrid or virtual events through an extremely awkward virtual trade show module that sits squarely in the uncanny valley. All actual in-person event functionality is haphazardly tacked on top of this garbage infrastructure with zero attention to UX on the internal or customer-facing side. Is this a fluke? Are they working to fix any of these issues and deliver the product they purport to sell? Nope—I provided the same feedback a year ago, much more gently, after the first of our two year contracts and almost nothing has changed. I should end this missive with a quick note that our attendees also loathed using this app, and it had the worst reviews and engagement of the half-dozen others we’ve tried over the years. Caveat emptor!

Inaccessible for disabled participants
This app is pretty terrible from an accessibility perspective. If you are using this for any sort of government conference, whether it’s local, state or federal, this app is likely illegal for you to use as it is inaccessible and harmful for disabled citizens and participants. Beware. the website is somewhat better but this app is far from accessible. Developers need to go back and redesign so that it works with Apple built in accessibility features such as voiceover and zoom.

Updated twice in the last month and neither version opens on my new phone
I don’t recommend this for the show. I’m going to today because I can’t even open the app.
Doesn’t make sense
This is not a good app. The list of “My Events” isn’t in chronological order, instead it’s just random. And the actual schedule is just a giant blob with no titles for the different events. It also loads very slowly.
