MoreThe app allows users to pay for street parking across Portugal. It offers a simple, fast, and secure way to manage parking without needing to use parking meters, coins, or physical tags. You can also manage multiple vehicles and extend your parking time remotely.
Key benefits include national coverage, post-payment options, the ability to park multiple license plates simultaneously, no need for a Via Verde identifier, and the convenience of remotely extending parking time. It also offers notifications, vehicle location, and a parking history.
The app itself is free to download and use for parking payments. While the description doesn't detail specific transaction fees, the monetization model is listed as 'free with in-app purchases', suggesting potential costs associated with parking sessions or additional services.
The app has coverage in 41 municipalities across Portugal, including major cities in the North (e.g., Porto, Braga), Center (e.g., Lisbon, Cascais), and South (e.g., Lagos, Loulé). The list of covered municipalities is extensive and continues to grow.
If you are already a Via Verde customer, you can use your existing website/app login details. If you are new to Via Verde, you can download the app and sign up for a Via Verde Mobilidade account without needing a physical identifier.
