Such a great app and so easy to use. I’ve done so much more exploring since starting to use it because it makes it so easy to figure out awesome things to do wherever you are.
Not easy to use when traveling
Love the actual bookings, but when I need to login to actually get my tickets or information needed about my booking, it’s a wild maze to get into the app. I have lost a travel guide because the information was not provided via email…and being in a remote location trying to log in to contact the tour operator (because the information was not provided in the actual emailed information) meant I had to find a completely different mode of transport for a party of 14.
Please find a better way to login or gather information to account for times when travelers WiFi and connectivity isn’t great.

They are terrible and incompetent. We booked a tour for our family, they took our money but didn’t include my kid in the booking. So there weren’t enough tickets for us to tour the place we traveled thousands of miles to see. An unbelievable letdown. They gave us a partial refund though. To add insult to injury. Get your guides with a good company!

Why have an app??
Booked a tour 3 months ago for a birthday gift for my husband. It’s now time to go on the tour, and every time I tried to view my reservation or pay for tickets on the app, I got an “Oops! Something went wrong” message. Finally figured out I could only access it from my Mac. Had to delete the app from my iPhone before using the link in the email from Viator to pay for and get my tickets.

I received a $25 off coupon in email and when I tried to use it I was told it was not valid or expired even though the email stated it doesn’t expire for another 10 days

Got scammed
We bought Colosseum tickets months prior to our trip. They send a message to go to a meeting point. We go to the meeting point and it’s a locked garage door. We tried to contact the guide, no answer. We call customer support and they can’t reach the guide either. Thankfully, customer support said they will refund it, but it’s still disappointing.
