Great app for booking activities for holidays
They have a website that doesn’t work right. I have booked six tours, none of them show on the site.
Frustrating website
Never disappointed
We have taken about a dozen Viator tours over the years and have never ever been disappointed. Each tour we’ve done in multiple European countries have been conducted with the utmost professionalism while in receiving value as well.
Doesn’t link to bookings made by my travel agent
I am not able to see my bookings in the app made on my behalf by my travel agent. There is no way to contact anyone for help
Easy & accurate
I’ve used in two different towns to find something fun to do and this app has not disappointed me. Prices are accurate and all information is included. I highly recommend this.
A steaming pile of excrement
The app is fine but the company is hot garbage. Avoid unless you enjoy being screwed over. Will never use this sham of a company again.

My safety was not considered when my tour guide ABANDONED me and my friend in an obscure city.
Warning and beware! Book through ANY OTHER APP!! My friend and I were left for dead in the middle of nowhere due to being 8 minutes late to a meeting point and told to figure it out ourselves. We are tourists in a foreign country and don’t speak the language, we got lost for a few minutes and they drove off with all our stuff still on the bus. Again, we were abandoned in an obscure “city”/town in the middle of nowhere, hours from where we were staying. I have actually had nightmares about this scenario happening. We booked through Viator but Viator operated the tour through a company called “walking tours”. Viator did not care in the slightest and didn’t even give us a refund. Thank you Viator for making my NIGHTMARES come true.

I am in town for a sorority convention and I’ve booked two activities through viator and it has been a breeze.
Forced to download app
I was forced to download the Viator app in order to access the tickets to the Van Gogh museum. I will never use this service again.

Great for booking tours buuuut
App is great for booking tours but I was unable to change or add a new payment method. I was also unable to view my past booking or leave a review.
Great one stop
Used Viator for my trip to Rome Florence and Pisa.
Most of my bookings were done through the app and very easy to use, kept everything in one place and in order. Directions were clear and have used rewards to book trips cheaper for next trip.

Tour Itinerary Not Matching Experience
I used Viator this summer to book 3 different tour experiences in Europe. 2 of the 3 did NOT live up to the itinerary descriptions. Although the customer service at Viator was responsive, they were not able to get the refunds on these tours that they should have from the tour operators after not delivery the right level of experience. Afraid I will seek other apps/services for booking tours in the future at this point.

I love using Viator to book fun adventures! Any time I’m in a city I open the app it gives me great options to do fun things that I wouldn’t even think of! Recently I hit a walking tour in Lisbon for 4€. Deal!
London Tour
We were coming to London for once in a lifetime visit in headed to our plan and two days before it was canceled. We were very disappointed.
Not trusted app to book tours!
I would give negative ratings as this travel app has scams and would scam travelers, I got scammed and lost $600 absolutely not reliable source to book your tours or travels. Customer service was worst and they wouldn’t communicate well and resolve issues timely. Totally waste of money effort time, what not. Don’t use this app if you really want good travel experience. Always go with some trusted tours who are reliable. As trip planning takes lots of time & money.

This app has helped me to find both popular and off the beaten path adventures so that I could plan out the best vacations for my family in NYC, Nashville, and Key West.. so far. More to come!
